POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Brittany @brodigergamer_ and I spent another wonderful fantastic stupendous year this Labor Day weekend working at PAX West as Enforcers. I find the atmosphere at PAX to be amazing. The attendees seemed so happy to be there. The Cosplay was great and so well thought out. The Seattle Convention Center is a very delightful place to be on Labor Day weekend if you’re at all interested in Video Games, Cosplay, Board Games, Arcades, Streaming…I saw all ages enjoying this convention. I’m thankful my daughter invited me to PAX West in 2017. Since then We’ve only missed two years. #paxwest #brodigergamer

On July 6, 2025, I held my dad’s hand. I watched as he took his final breaths passing peacefully from my hand into Jesus’ arms. I felt so honored to have been there at that exact moment. Weeks before he died he said, “If anything happens to me. I want you my side holding my hand.” What an extraordinary blessing God allowed me to experience. Faith was a very important part of my relationship with my dad. We went to church together even after the rest of the family stopped going. I was his caregiver for years along with my mom. He was such a wonderful father. A loving human being. He was kind to everyone. He loved people. He loved to travel. Meeting up with my family on vacations. He enjoyed his grandchildren. He especially loved his wife of 69 years. He was definitely a family man. A gentle giant. He held a lot of prestigious positions in the church and on various committees he served in. Many of them in the American Bar Association. He was a Superior Court Judge in King County and won juror of the year in 1991. He was known as a fair and honest judge. I will miss him but I know he is in a better place. He has been reassigned to a higher court and exchanged his earthly tent which was weighing him down for a heavenly body. He is free. Rest in peace Dad. I’ll see you again someday.

I’m finally posting a few photos of when Brittany came up to Seattle last month. She came up to go to Sakura Con. She also came up to see her puppy friend Kali. We had a wonderful time together and we’re all looking forward to her next visit.

Is it possible to have an emotional support tour? Because the D-Day tour is the gift that keeps on giving!

I thought I would cry or be sad watching the movie for the first time but I was so damn happy to be around other Army.

Yoongi said he wanted to do this concert so we’d have something to hold us over for the remainder of their break. He and the other tannies have done so much to see to that while they’re gone. I feel that love and am so grateful his thoughtfulness has created spaces for us to come together.

I’m a little nervous about this meetup I’m hosting at Drip Tea tomorrow, but the last couple of days watching the movie with Army friends new and old have reminded me the joy of finding community. BTS Army is my kapwa and ignites the extrovert in me. That’s what made me brave enough to reach out to Drip and create this space for us to connect. I hope to see you tomorrow! 💜🫰🏽
