POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Honored to have been a guest on the Hit Makers room Podcast! My episode is out now. We talked music, life, legacy, and the incredible, priceless experiences I’ve had on the road with some of the greatest in the industry—from my grandfather King Solomon Burke to Aretha Franklin, James Brown to Dolly Parton and Bob Dylan.

There have been so many iconic moments throughout my career that I never fully understood the value of until recently. Looking back now, I’m filled with gratitude for every stage, every lesson, every story, and every unforgettable moment. We talked my Uncle @mickeystevensonofficial & how @motownrecords was founded. So much history & lots of laughs. 😂

I hope you’ll enjoy this interview and this walk down memory lane with me. A very special thank you to all my SOULMates—I love you all! ❤️

And stay tuned… new music is on the way! 🎶✨ @thehitmakersroom #soul #viral #podcast #sing #explore

Here’s a little BTS of my recording process. 🤍

Most days, I show up with no makeup, my hair in a ponytail, sweatpants on, and one goal: to create. For me, it’s never been about looking perfect—it’s about making timeless art that speaks to the soul.

My intention is always to create music with purpose. The kind of songs you can come back to years from now, press play, and still feel something. Music that heals, inspires, and reminds you that you’re never alone.

A few fun facts about my studio routine: I usually eat licorice , and I love chewing gum right before I lay my vocals. It’s my favorite little vocal technique. 💦 🍯

No two studio days are ever the same, but here’s a little sneak peek of “Wife.” We’re nowhere near finished, but I wanted to let you in on the journey. 🎙️✨

Thank you for believing in me and growing with me. My Soulmates… I love y’all. 🤍♾️ @davixdojointhesky, 🎵 🎷 @brody.psd 🎥 #love #explore #viral #explorepage #music

I wanted to share a little of my life journey with y’all—my new fam, and anyone who may need some encouragement today.

Sometimes we think our plans, goals, and dreams are the only way forward. But God always has a Greater plan. He knows exactly what we need, when we need it, and how He desires to give it to us. Our job is to stay surrendered to His will and trust His timing.

I’m so grateful for every lesson, every challenge, every obstacle, every touring experience, 🎵 🎙️ and every life-altering change that pushed me into my purpose. Looking back, I can see how God was working through it all, even when I didn’t understand it at the time.

I’m grateful for where I am today, but I know there’s so much more that God is doing through me and preparing me for.

If you’re ever feeling down, discouraged, or ready to give up, keep going. Keep believing. Keep trusting. You are never alone. God is our protector, our guide, and our BODYGUARD! 🙌🏽❤️

More music 🎵 on the way. Love y’all! ❤️✨ BODYGUARD 🎵 OUT NOW!
