I’m not a photographer…but when your son asks you to take his senior pictures, you figure it out.

I’ve spent years behind the camera taking pictures of him and his baseball teams, so when Brody asked me to do his senior photos, I thought… why not? Let’s do it.

What I didn’t realize was how special it would be.
Most moms don’t get to say they got to share this part of senior year with their son. Just us trying to figure it out….. driving around, finding spots, laughing, fighting, taking pictures and capturing this season of his life.

What an honor it was to be the one behind the camera. And even more of an honor that he wanted me to be. 🥹
Senior year, here we go. ❤️

There are some endings you know are coming, but they still hit harder than you expect.

This past weekend marked the end of Brody’s club baseball career. The last tournament. The last road trip.

Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far he’s come not just as a baseball player, but as a young man. He stepped into positions he never imagined he’d play, trusted his coaches, pushed through the uncomfortable, and discovered he was capable of so much more than he believed.

But what I’ll remember most isn’t just the baseball.
It’s the weekends spent chasing games. The long drives. The hotel lobbies. The lunches and dinners between games. Somewhere along the way, teammates became brothers, and the families sitting beside us in the stands became our family too.

I’m so grateful we said yes to this journey all those years ago. It gave Brody confidence, resilience, lifelong friendships, and memories that will stay with him forever. It gave us people who will always hold a special place in our hearts.

To my husband that made all this happen for him year after year Brody couldn’t have done it without your support. To his teammates, coaches and baseball families who walked this road with us, thank you. ❤️🥹

First tournament of the summer. Crazy to think this is our last summer of travel baseball. Time really does fly. Looking forward to weekends at the ballpark, road trips, and making the most of every game. Let’s go BB 💜 #15
