Maybe the pain wasn’t meant to break me.
Maybe it was meant to build me for this.

I’ve walked through illness.
I’ve lived through heartache.
I’ve known what it feels like to lose pieces of yourself—and fight to find your way back.

And now I know this:

My story isn’t just my story. It’s my assignment.

Every struggle. Every setback. Every painful chapter has taught me something I can use to help someone else keep going.

If I can take what tried to break me and use it to inspire someone else to get back up, believe again, get stronger, and become the person God created them to be…

then none of the pain was wasted.

This is my purpose.
To turn pain into purpose.
To turn lessons into leadership.
To remind others that their hardest chapter does NOT have to be their final chapter.

You are still becoming. And so am I. ❤️‍🔥#fitnessmotivation #fitnesslife #mindsetshift #faithandfitness #brokenandbecoming

I got tired of surviving when I knew God created me for MORE.

I was showing up. Functioning. Getting through life.

But I knew deep down—I wasn’t living in the fullness of who God called me to be.

So I stopped waiting for things to change.

I prayed.
I surrendered.
And then I got to work.

I chose discipline over excuses.
Faith over fear.
Growth over comfort.

Because God can open the door—but I still have to walk through it.

I’m stronger. I’m bolder. I’m becoming.

And I’m not settling for just getting by anymore.

I’m becoming who God created me to be. 🔥🙏🏼#fitnessmotivation #mindsetshift #fitnesslife #faithandfitness #brokenandbecoming

Stop making excuses.

The body, strength, and life you want aren’t coming from what you plan to do tomorrow.

They’re built by what you DO TODAY.

You keep saying you’ll start Monday.
Monday keeps coming.
And nothing changes.

Get up. Get moving. Get uncomfortable.

Your future self is watching.

START NOW. 🔥#fitnessmotivation #fitnesslife #mindsetshift #fitafter50 #faithandfitness

What does your relationship with God really look like?
Is He someone you only turn to when life gets difficult, or is He part of your everyday life? Your decisions, your conversations, your victories, your struggles… even your workouts?
Just like fitness, a strong relationship isn’t built overnight. It’s built through consistency, commitment, and choosing to show up day after day.
Don’t settle for simply saying you believe in God. Pursue a relationship with Him. Talk with Him. Trust Him. Invite Him into every part of your life.
The strongest foundation you’ll ever build isn’t your body—it’s your relationship with the One who created it. ❤️🙏#faithandfitness #fitnesslife #faith #purposeoverpain #fitnessmotivation

Several months ago, I wasn’t sure what rebuilding would look like.

Hard seasons have a way of breaking us down—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. But broken doesn’t mean finished. Sometimes it’s in the rebuilding that we become stronger than we were before.

After being away from the bar for quite some time, I felt the need to try. No expectations. No pressure. Just a reminder to myself that progress is possible when you keep showing up.

And today, I got the muscle-ups.

Not because the journey was easy, but because I didn’t quit.

Whatever you’re walking through right now, don’t give up. Keep taking the next step. Keep trusting the process. Keep believing that what feels broken today can become something stronger tomorrow.

You got this. I did, and so can you. 💪❤️#muscleups #fitnessmotivation #fitnessgirl #fitafter50 #purposeoverpain

“There is something powerful that happens when women come together, lay down their burdens, and allow God to meet them in the middle of their brokenness. ❤️

Hearing stories like this reminds us why Broken to Becoming exists. Every testimony is proof that healing is possible, freedom is available, and your story is far from over.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, unseen, overwhelmed, or broken by life’s circumstances, know this: God is still writing your story. What feels broken today can become something beautiful tomorrow.

✨ Broken to Becoming is more than a workshop—it’s an invitation to heal, grow, and step into the woman God created you to be.

Thank you to every woman who showed up with courage and vulnerability. Your testimony matters. #brokenandbecoming #faithandfitness #purposeoverpain #mindsetshift #community

My Cast of Comparison

Back in January I broke my leg during a CrossFit class, and oddly enough, the biggest lesson had nothing to do with fitness.

I was actually doing really well. I was staying calm, using self-control, and not pushing beyond my limits. Even though I was using a smaller box than some of the others, I felt confident in my own pace.

But then…. I started looking around.
I glanced over at the people beside me, comparing myself for just a second, wondering how I measured up. The moment my focus shifted from my own lane to everyone else’s, I fell hard. I heard a snap, and my leg instantly went numb.

As painful as the injury was, the lesson cut even deeper: comparison can make us lose footing in places where we were already doing just fine.

How often do we do this in life? We compare timelines, success, appearance, relationships, gifts, and callings, forgetting that God never designed our stories to all look the same.

What God is building in you is beautiful too, even if it looks different from someone else’s.

Stay focused on your own race. Trust your own season. And stop looking sideways long enough to miss the purpose right in front of you.

“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus…” Hebrews 12:1-2 #faithandfitness#brokenandbecoming#Godlovesyou#womensupportingwomen

There’s something powerful about the struggle. Not because the pain is easy… but because it changes us.

The breaking seasons of life often become the very places where God begins rebuilding us into who we were always meant to be. From broken to becoming. From surviving to surrendering. From wounded to walking in purpose.

Growth is uncomfortable. Healing is messy. Becoming requires stretching, pruning, and learning how to keep moving even when life feels heavy. But struggle has a way of producing strength, compassion, resilience, and deeper faith.

And one of the greatest gifts in the struggle? People.God never intended for us to walk through hard seasons alone. We need community. We need people who will sit with us in the pain, remind us who we are, pray for us when we feel weak, and walk beside us while we become.

The struggle may break parts of you… but it can also introduce you to a stronger, wiser, softer, more faithful version of yourself.

Keep becoming. 🤍 Tag someone who has helped you through a struggle. Listen to full episode, link in bio.
