Wild Roses. 2026. 30x24 inches. Oil, acrylics and metal leaf on cotton canvas.

Each mark is painted separately by hand, slowly building rhythm, movement, and depth across the surface. The process mirrors what fascinates me in nature: repetition without exact sameness, order mixed with irregularity, and complex structures made from simple forms.

Featured Artist: @broksart

Kristine Heggem Brokstad is a Norwegian fine art painter whose work blends abstract and organic forms, inspired by the intricate patterns and textures found in nature. Born in Norway in 1994, her upbringing amongst the forests, fjords and mountains of Northern Europe profoundly influences her vibrant and dynamic paintings. Studying under the esteemed Norwegian classical painter Bjørn Algrim enriched her technique, while her academic journey through political science, economics, philosophy and psychology broadened her perspective on life’s complexities.

Collect a @broksart digital art piece here in the Art Hunt! September 20th ✨

Wow that’s a wrap❕

Thank you all for coming to the birthday Korean BBQ dinner party 👩🏻‍🍳 and all the support, gifts and love 💕
This year I’ve been learning a lot about people, how to live a well-paced life, and how to keep peace within me. And it’s all from my awesome friends who always motivate and inspire me in different aspects of life.
Somebody told me that I will find a great community to be in this year, and I do think that I found it after closing a chapter.

The keyword for this year is “wholesomeness”. 🍵

Thank you for such great photos @nickybchan 📸

@broksart and Chris deep diving into her proofs of each art capture for reproduction. Chris walks through each piece of artwork with Kristine to ensure each file is what is represented of her vision. ✨

We proof on our archival @lexjetofficial matte paper but sometimes you can achieve your vision in a reproduction on a different paper. Some of Kristine’s pieces really excelled on the @hahnemuehle_imaging Metallic Rag, one of our Fine Art papers. 🗒️
