We traveled to D.C. this week to present Senator Katie Britt with the FFAF Pro-Family Champion Award, thanking her for all the work she has done to help protect access to IVF in Alabama and across the country. There are so many babies across our state, including my sweet Maggie, who are here today because of the work she did behind the scenes in 2024. We are so grateful for you, Senator Britt!

Bromberg & Co. has named Marlin "Brian" Hood president.

A 20-year company veteran and manager of the retailer's Mountain Brook store, Hood will lead alongside longtime vice president Kathryn C. "Kitty" Lovelady, who has been with Bromberg & Co. for 40 years.

The leadership change follows the death of longtime president Ricky Bromberg on Sept. 2. Family members remain active on the board as the sixth-generation business moves forward. The Mountain Brook store renovation, shaped by Ricky's vision, is scheduled for completion in fall 2027.

Yesterday, September 4, was National Wear Teal Day, and our community showed up in teal. 🩵

Thank you to everyone who wore teal, shared a photo and helped start conversations about ovarian cancer. Awareness begins when we choose to speak up, share what we know and stand beside the women and families affected by this disease.

Keep wearing teal and sharing hope with us throughout Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month! 🎗️

From the sweetest little flower girl to a dance floor that never slowed down, Madison & Chris’ wedding was filled with personality from beginning to end. 🤍 Their youngest guests had some of the most memorable roles, including Chris’ 11-year-old nephew, who proudly gave himself the title of “Junior Best Man,” and Madison’s 8-month-old niece, who made her way down the aisle in a wagon pulled by another nephew. 🥹

Madison’s bridal look was just as special. Her gown from @thewhiteroombirmingham featured the dreamiest dimensional floral details and an elegant off-the-shoulder silhouette, while her bridesmaids complemented her beautifully in dresses from @bellabridesmaidsbham. ✨

After a lively second line led guests from the ceremony to the celebration, the party carried on all night. Madison & Chris even skipped the traditional slow song for their final private dance, choosing “Quittin’ Time” by Zach Bryan instead. As Madison shared, “We jumped, screamed the lyrics, stomped our feet,” soaking in those last few moments together before calling it a night. 💃🏼

A literal dream wedding day in Highlands, NC! 🥂

A few lovely details to mention: all of the family heirloom jewelry, the veil belonged to the groom’s grandmother, the table linens happened to match the dress perfectly, and although it was a small + intimate celebration it was incredibly meaningful. Intentional time together with family will always be a priority in my opinion, and I was honored to document such a special day for the Turner and Ratliff families. 🤍

I recently got the opportunity to buy one of my all time grail watches. The 126500 Rolex Daytona with white dial. When I found out that my wife and I were expecting our little baby Marguerite I knew I would need a great watch to commemorate this huge moment. I’ve been blessed to have been able to get many of my favorites but this occasion would certainly call for one of my grails. As always @brombergs came through with this magnificent watch. This watch will always mean the world to me, it will remind me of one of the greatest chapters of life and serve as a cornerstone in my collection.

An all time favorite @rolex from my dear friends @brombergs I remember the first time I saw someone wearing a submariner Kermit in person (16610lv 50th anniversary sub). My heart melted. Ever since then the staple “Rolex green” has been reserved for very special precious metal models….ie yellow gold GMT, yellow gold Daytona…. Then all of the sudden we saw it on a submariner then an OP. This submariner is a thing of perfection and I would buy it a thousand times over.
