One can, two cans, who can, YOU CAN! It’s time for our annual canned food drive, and this year, we’re bringing the world of Dr. Seuss to life as we collect non-perishable food items for the Murrieta Community Pantry!
Last year, our Bronco family collected just under 9,000 food items to support local families in need. Let’s see if we can beat that record this year! Remember, Service is one of the pillars of C.L.A.S.S., and this is your chance to put that commitment into action. We’ll be hosting a friendly competition between 5th-period classes, so encourage your classmates to participate and help your class climb to the top! Here’s how you can earn service hours: For every 4 cans or non-perishable food items you donate, you’ll receive 1 hour of community service credit (maximum 5 hours)! Students, it is your responsibility to add up the number of items you donate, divide by 4 to determine how many community service hours you are eligible to receive, and write that number under the hours worked column before you present your log to your teacher for a signature. Additional service logs are available in the ASB/Senate room, P117. Bring your donations to your 5th-period teacher, who will verify the number of items you submit by signing your service log.
Broncos, let’s come together, make a difference, and show our community what it means to live CLASS the Bronco Way!
One can, two cans, who can, YOU CAN!

Are you looking for community service hours to meet your graduation requirement or to earn your service cord? In partnership with the City of Murrieta, The Salvation Army, and the Loma Linda Medical Center, the Murrieta Valley Unified School District is hosting “Stuff the Bus” toy drive to benefit local children. VMHS students may turn in a new and unwrapped toy intended for ages 0-17 to the library before school, break, lunch or after school beginning Monday, October 19th through Tuesday, November 4th. Students will receive 1 hour of community service for each donated unwrapped toy (maximum 5 hours). Gift cards are also accepted. Let’s help our community Stuff the Bus for local children!

Students & staff, the white rabbit has disappeared. We need YOU to help us solve the mystery before homecoming. Use your best detective skills to interview the suspects, evaluate all the clues and help us safely recover the white rabbit before our HOCO Through the Looking Glass event. All suspects and their general locations are listed on the graphic provided. Clues will be released periodically through BNN and here on Instagram.
