Very few hairstylists are trained to evaluate what that tension does to the scalp.

When you apply tension to the scalp, you’re not just moving hair.

Under excessive tension you will see two main things

1. blanching (restricted blood flow) turns white
2. erythema/pooling (repercussion response) turns red

This is not just visual, it’s a circulatory response.

If your install creates visible color change at the scalp…

you are altering blood flow.

&& if that’s happening repeatedly, over time…

you’re no longer dealing with just “tightness” and red spots.

You’re dealing with biological stress on tissue creating follicle miniaturization.

You can’t apply increasing tension to living tissue
and expect things to be okay.

Still on cloud nine after winning the overall figure and masters titles at last weekend’s @klash_championship_series.
Our number one goal was to bring our absolute best and that’s exactly what we did. I’m proud but not satisfied. The main target is still a couple weeks away and I’m doing whatever it takes to improve on that time and bring an undeniable package to the national stage.
I have been beyond blessed and stay grateful for the incredible team that has gotten me to this point.
First the man with the plan @j_jacoby32. He has believed in me since day one. His attentiveness and attention to detail is second to none and it’s absolute honor to call him coach. No matter where land at the end of this szn Justin’s coaching over the past year has grown me so much and my improvement has sky rocketed with him. I have zero doubt that I will be an
