And that’s a wrap!

A special shout out to the 250 children who came from five different schools and various refugee communities to make the Kingdom Camp so special.

Each of you are made in the image of God, and He delights in your creativity, your curiosity, and your perseverance. It was a privilege and an honor to spend three days with all of you. Keep shining your light and looking to God. He is always there with you.

Mark 10:14: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

6 years at Brook Hills!!

Obviously not letting today pass without a post! This year of ministry has simultaneously been the most difficult and the most life-giving. All praise belongs to the Lord for the rich ministry that’s happened over the last 365 days.

I’ve loved being a student minister more than words can really convey. (More on that to come, I’m sure.) And I love @brookhillsstudents even more. I’m humbled and grateful that the Lord saw fit to call me here.

Year 7, let’s go!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Our @brookhillswomen Summer Study is one of my favorite things on the calendar each year, and this year, we’re studying God’s Kingdom & Covenants.

This week is the Old Covenant, and Alex Bishop is a queen for making the story of the exodus come alive in this tablescape!

We ate the 10 plagues, saw the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, and constructed our own tabernacles like the model on this tablescape. It makes what we’re studying so tangible, and I’m incredibly grateful for the many gifts of the women in our church that make summer study happen.

Also, shoutout to Melissa Chappell this week for highlighting 5 things the Old Covenant shows us about God - so rich!

What We’ll Study:
From creation in Genesis 1 to restoration in Revelation 22, the Bible tells one grand story of a King, His Kingdom, and His people. To understand the past, present, and future relationship that God the King has with His people, our study this summer will focus on God’s Kingdom & Covenants.

Each week during large group time, we’ll examine one significant covenants in the storyline of Scripture, taught by Brook Hills women:
—The covenant with Abraham,
—The Old Covenant,
—The covenant with David, and
—The New Covenant.

After, you will have time to discuss in a smaller group the significance of the promises God made to His people.

Plus, you get to meet new people and make new friends! 🙌🏼❤️

There are two options to choose from this summer:
• Tuesday Evenings: June 2, 9, 16, 23 from 6-8pm
• Wednesday Mornings: June 3, 10, 17, 24 from 10am-noon
