We said goodbye to our Hershey Boy, Hersch, Old Man yesterday😢 He made it almost 13 years and was the best doggie. The pool won’t be the same without him.

We miss him dearly but are so thankful for the time we had💔

John 3:16- probably one of the most universally know Bible verses. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” As I reach the end of my first trimester of DPT school, I was reminded of the many challenges I faced this year. I left Charlotte, North Carolina, my home, my family, and my friends to head to Dallas, Texas to pursue a dream of mine since I was 16. I use this post to remind others to continue to take steps through love and faith and look up to the one who created it all. When moving and leaving behind everything I had ever known, it was (and still at times is) difficult to see what he is doing through my life. Since moving, I have been able to gain new knowledge to help others, widen my Christian community, explore new environments, create new relationships, and learn to be grateful for new opportunities. I’ve been blessed with such a solid foundation throughout my life and I’m thankful for the challenges I have faced this year to put life into a new perspective of growth.

Our sweet Aspen, affectionately known as “Affie,” passed away this week. We are heartbroken, but thankful to have so many memories with her♥️
She was 100% the Momma dog, always watching over everyone, and cautious of anyone who walked through our door. She was sweet, gentle, and loved by everyone!

She will be missed🐾💕
