goodbye basketball…

I’m not normally an emotional or sappy person, but this hits a little different. If you know me, you know basketball was never my favorite sport. Whenever I was asked about how the seasons going I would jokingly say “it’s going”, then tell you about the 17 down-and-backs and long practices. So it’s kind of crazy that I’m sitting here realizing the sport I spent 12 years playing is suddenly over. I’m going to miss all the memories and will forever be grateful for all the relationships I made through this sport. And Melvin I know how proud you would be of the way I finished. I didn’t think I’d miss it like this, and I wish we could hit one more post dub water dance but here we are. Never thought I’d say it, but you’ll be missed, basketball.
