Well the day has officially came…. The day I’ve been dreading since i realized sundodgers was my home… The end of my travel ball career. Saying goodbye to part of my life has been nothing but devastating and the worst heartbreak of my life. After 5 years of being a Sundodger it’s officially time to hung up my #22 jerseys. The hardest part is accepting that it’s all just a memory now, some of my best memories and experiences I would have never gotten if it wasn’t for this team. As much as I hated the hard times and the physically exhausting “I wanna give up” moments, I couldn’t be more thankful for because those moments made me the disciplined athlete I am today and taught me how to keep going, even if it resulted in a fainting, nearly throwing up, or even heat exhaustion. The best memories aren’t winning, it’s the pregame warmup, dancing in the dugout, seeing my coaches more excited than me to see me hit a home run, pre and post game bully Coach Cam, watching my younger teammates grow stronger as athletes, younger teammates coming to me for tips or advice, game breaks with the team, seeing the high pressure moments work in our favor, the list goes on and on. The little victories are much bigger than the big wins. One thing I would tell my younger self as a dodger is to just live in the moment and have fun while it lasts no need to be so hard on yourself, it goes by way to fast to be stewing on a strikeout that happened 2 months prior and to stop seeing plays as “what if I did this better”. One thing I’ve always carried with me “Play for the people next to you no matter how tired you are” and “Always sell out and make those amazing plays to stand out”- Coach Sam. This season I finally got to play in the two tournaments I always wanted to play in, playing on my birthday and the hot August nights tournament. Playing at 1:30 and 4:45 AM was truly challenging but I wouldn’t want to end my season any other way. It’s tough to see this part of my life come to an end, but all good things come to an end. One last time, I’m proud to be here💙💛☂️

Two years, countless memories, and a whole lot of growth. 🤍
Thank you, Sundodgers, for being so much more than just a team. From the unforgettable tournaments to the late-night hotel laughs, every moment meant something. I’ve grown not just as a player, but as a person—and that’s because of the teammates who became family and the memories that made this journey so special.

This chapter is closing, but the lessons, friendships, and love for the game will stick with me forever. I’ll miss wearing this jersey, but I’ll never forget what it stood for.

Love you always, Sundodgers
Forever Proud To Be Here
