August is #NationalBreastfeedingMonth and Aug. 25th-31st is #BlackBreastfeedingWeek. The collection will include Shirts, Hats, and Crop Tops with Joggers.

It’s the first of the month, and our world feels a little heavier after news broke out of our failed system yet again.
.
I am Mariah, a black woman with debt, two degrees, a marriage with no children, and fibromyalgia in America.
.
Why these attributes you may ask? It’s to show you HOW many ways I’m actually unsupported. Do the right things, and you’ll be rewarded, right?
.
Well, in light of the dismantling of Affirmative Action and the student loan forgiveness alongside the “right” to refuse service to the LGBTQ+ community, it may feel as if we digressed in our journey to freedom and equality.
.
But I’m here to remind you to remember WHOSE you are—that’s GOD’S!
.
Continue to lead with love in your homes and in your communities! Lift one another UP, show empathy and kindness NO MATTER WHAT THESE RULINGS SAY!
.
Treat others with the same respect you want for yourself and your loved ones!
.
WE are the way makers! Remember, there is so much power in each decision and in each word!
.
Sending love and light to my friends and family members who represent the LQBTQ+, sending strength and positivity for my fellow men and women OF COLOR! 🏳️‍🌈

When I was pregnant with my first child, I used to keep a blog about my experiences, hopes and other bits and bobs. I decided to go on maternity leave, and while I was away I published list after list of advice from close friends. It was one of the more touching first moments of this journey because a friend just shared advice without my asking. I felt so held in that moment, that the first thing I wanted to do was give the other folks who were also expecting around my time that same feeling in case they didn’t have it.

Some time during the pandemic, I decided to revive that idea. I’m doing it again for the second time. I’ll share the previous posts here and if you’d like to participate, fill out the form in my bio.

Took Ay visit one of his besties, Freedom, in Michigan for her birthday 🥳
