Axel’s Peter Rabbit Birthday Party was a success! None of the bunnies that we rented were harmed (whew!) and the all of the food was beautiful thanks to a group effort.

“I’ll put it lightly that seeing the lifeguard tower burnt down at the Wedge exhausted & upset me more than it probably should... arsonists man, can I help you with your next hobbie?? We don’t have a grave for my brother & we didn’t have a funeral. This particular spot was for all things memorial. The lifeguard tower was the only thing that made me sit & be still. If you know me, I don’t sit. I felt calm & I love visioning Knox body boarding. I’d usually get a breakfast burrito (knox’s favorite) bring it down there, & stay for hours. On Mother’s Day I told tan I wanted to bring walker to my spot. It was rescheduled for a different day... Walker never got to join me at my spot... My Uncle was holding the wood in the picture on my insta story. This is from my Uncle Bart, “Yes and then after talking to city workers who didn’t give a hoot, I knew it needed to be rescued. Best to read the article. I was absolutely not going to let Knox’s and all the other names on that memorial beam get destroyed. I drove to city yard and spoke to head guy, explained the situation that it needed to be found. A couple more phone calls, they located it and my friend and I picked it up and took it to the lifeguard headquarters. It turned out to be a good day.” I would love to share who Knox was, and what he was about. I’m so thankful it wasn’t worse, and no one was harmed, including those guys. If I’m true to my word, I said lose one, save many. And if we have the opportunity to talk about Knox’s Story, it’s an opportunity to not go unnoticed. So I hope this brings about more awareness towards the drug epidemic our nation is facing.. Thank you Uncle Bart, and Brian for letting me know what was going on. Thank you to the people who burnt the tower down, you’re only helping bring light to a horrible tragedy. My family & I would love for anyone who hasn’t watched our documentary to check it out. It’s been awhile since we’ve posted. But we have a few things underway, thanks for following Knox’s Story. This was on Christmas Day, sober and thriving. He was the happiest we’ve seen him. We didn’t get a lot of holidays together during the years he was using. This day, he was present. This post is for all you people WHO ARE STRUGGLING BUT STAYING SOBER, for those WHO WANT TO BE SOBER BUT ARE HAVING A HARD TIME COMMITTING, and for those WHO MISS KNOX. You got this. You ALL DO. They say one day at a time, we say one second at a time. Stay strong.

48 hours, 2 flights, 8 hours of driving, 1 wedding, lots of friends, and little sleep. A great weekend celebrating @katikai and @nation_mfg .. thank you for including us in such a magical weekend ❤️ Also, this mama finally has a phone again 🙌🏼 woot woot!
