Get thee to the Auditorium Theatre!
.
Last night I was invited to opening night of @andjulietbway as it returned to Chicago on tour. If you’re unfamiliar with the hit Broadway musical, it asks one simple question: What if Juliet didn’t die? This clever continuation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy imagines Juliet writing her own story and will have you smiling, laughing, and dancing in your seat all night long.
.
This Max Martin jukebox musical is packed with the songs that defined the late ‘90s and early 2000s. While Max Martin’s name might not immediately ring a bell, chances are you’ve spent years singing his music. From Britney Spears and *NSYNC to the Backstreet Boys, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, and so many more, the soundtrack is one nostalgic hit after another. The music is phenomenal, but this cast is every bit as impressive.
.
Recent high school graduate and 2025 Jimmy Award winner @fabiolaacq makes her national tour debut as Juliet and she is nothing short of a star. Her vocals, expressive performance, and commanding stage presence made it hard to take your eyes off her. @cryskellogg is another standout as Anne Hathaway. Her powerhouse vocals and impeccable comedic timing had the audience roaring with laughter. @njcochoa brings so much heart to May, creating one of the show’s most lovable and sincere performances. I was also thrilled to see Kathryn Allison on stage again as Angélique. I remembered her immediately from another production, and once again she was absolutely fantastic.
And then there’s the Joey Fatone of it all.
.
For Chicago audiences, @realjoeyfatone (*NSYNC) joins the cast as Lance through August 2 only, adding another layer of nostalgia to an already nostalgic show. From the little Easter eggs he slipped into the performance to his accents (“Are we doing accents?”), and the extended ovation he received in Act Two, he fit seamlessly into this wonderful company.
.
& Juliet is playing now through August 2 at the Auditorium Theatre. Thanks to @broadwayinchicago for having me!

Zombies 4 is coming Someday…soon! The teaser trailer for Zombies 4 came out today and I can’t help but be excited to see our newest besties join the Seabrook alumn at camp! @malachibarton and @iamfreyaskye were so sweet when we met them with @megdonnelly at @disneyd23 Expo! They even FaceTimed Isla in Maryland (with a surprise sneak attack by Holden who wanted to say hi to them too! 🤣) and Meg sang Someday to her 🥹 Malachi saying “love you, bestie” when he hung up with her will be her fan girl origin story forever. I just know it! Can’t wait to see the Vampires and Daywalkers join the zombies, werewolves and aliens at summer camp. I know we are in for a ride! Anyone else excited for Zombie 4? What did you think of the new teaser trailer?? And who else be at the Descendants and Zombies Worlds Collide Tour this summer?? You know Isla will be there….and probably me if we’re being honest 😅
