Today was so emotional. I cried and cried and cried and cried! Tears of joy and thankfulness for this long road of active treatment to end!!! Praise Jesus!! I couldn’t have done it without my family: My wonderful husband who has carried me figuratively and literally for the past year. My son who has protected, defended, made sure I’m on top of medicines, and been my heroic defender, and my other son living far away who has called me, FaceTimed me and sent me photos of beautiful places. For my daughter who has cried with me, patted me, comforted me, and has made me take naps when I was being stubborn. For my doctors for the utmost care at @bsahealthsystem and Harrington Cancer Center and the volunteers at @hchfamarillo For my nurses. My sweet angels of mercy and compassion and care. I was overwhelmed with gratitude to see their faces at the ringing of the bells! The tears wouldn’t stop. For dear friends who helped me on the daily with meals and advice and laughter. My sister who has traveled to me and helped me through the hardest things (and reorganized my kitchen cabinets!!!) For my mother who has prayed and encouraged and lifted me up. I love all of you so much.

I have years of medication ahead of me and lots of checkups but I fully trust the plans and know that I am thought of and prayed over.

I have had countless outpourings of love and prayer, tokens and gifts, food and donations, emails and cards, flowers and books, singing carolers full of cheer. I feel so rich. The richest woman in town - just like George Bailey.

It truly is a WONDERFUL LIFE. 💕

Brooklyn rocked her windy session… I always try to make the best out of our weather here in the panhandle! We had so much fun… and got very angry with the wind!! These where some of my favorites from this set. Seniors weekday dates are now open for booking.. if you are wanting a senior session now is the time to book!
