Second appreciation post this morning… Meet @brooklyn_dancess..

Brookie is a straight FIRECRACKER when it comes to dance. She’s so damn strong, powerful and full of personality. And I’m STILL trying to figure out who taught her all those faces!!!

Sidenote: All that acro you see… she watched videos online and taught herself!!! No one showed her. She just kept watching, practicing and pushing herself until she got it.

I love watching her… Watch how she does the one-handed backhand springs and goes from left to right… Simply amazing…

@starboundcomp has a special place in my heart, as it was my first ever dance competition and national competition! I was so grateful to have won Junior Miss Starbound, and have won second place overall. @lily_hedden_ , I had a blast with you, and I hope we have more competitions together!!!

Thank you @giulia_griffith_payne for choreographing two phenomenal solos, and I am truly going to miss them both.

Thank you @jae.lune and @tribebody for the great support and training. Every day at Tribe is inspiring, exciting and supportive, and I am so grateful to be apart of it!

Follow me as I vlog my daughters’ dance competition..

This weekend was a little different. @gia_casey had a prior engagement and couldn’t make it, so it was just me and my three younger daughters holding it down.

That meant I was on hair duty, makeup duty, food runs, getting them downstairs on time and of course making sure we still had fun in between it all.

I had an amazing time with my girls… but I also gained a whole new level of respect for how much my wife really does during these competitions. It’s a full production.

Even on the ride home, in the middle of a blizzard, we turned it into a party... Memories over everything.

Salute to all the dance dads out there. I’ll see you at the next competition….
