Tomorrow will end the first year of Get Western. We have an insane spotlight to end the year off with. Then, us and our friends over at @smokeshowent have something pretty cool planned to start year two off with.

Thank you to all the artists who’ve given me the chance to interview you, espicially @chrismargolin and @colttwinterlepley . Y’all were my first two interviews, and I wouldnt be doing this without y’all taking the chance on me.

Thank you to @kennyfeidler for letting us come out and shoot our first concert (middle school me can’t belive it).

Thank you to @mattmoranmusic . You’ve given me more advice about the music business than I think you know.

Thank you to @cmandthewantedones (the homie of all homies). I don’t know if I told you, but you’re the first artist I ever talked to in person about doing an interview, and you’re always the best hang.

And lastly, thank you to everyone over at @westerngrungetapedeck . Y’all have given me so much guidance, advice, and opportunities.

Here’s to year two.

I’ve felt so much love from the community here this past week and I’m so, so thankful for it. I’ve been welcomed with open arms and I can’t fully put it into words to express my gratitude and love for these folks and this place. It’s been such a fun week filled with amazing live music and better people. I can’t wait to see the future of this scene! Thank you Stillwater 🧡

Friends come and go, but the Filtz family has been a rock-solid part of my life for at least 20 years. We’ve laughed hysterically together, and we’ve cried uncontrollably together until there were no more tears left to shed.

I don’t have the words—or the skillset—to fully express how grateful I am to have been neighbors in the “trailer hood” and to have had their unconditional support and friendship all these years, and for the years still to come.

It’s been an absolute blessing to photograph Brooklyn over the years and watch her grow into the rockstar she’s become. I’m honored and humbled to have been asked to help capture some of the most memorable moments in her life.

There’s more to come, and I can’t wait to be there for it all.

Love you all from the bottom of my heart.

Tod
