So grateful for everyone who carried me through this year. I wouldn’t have been able to make the work I made without the help, care, and generosity of so many people. It’s hard for me not to see those people in my photographs. The images may appear one way, but to me the conditions in which they were made are always present, places to sleep, doors opened, meals shared, patience extended, and conversations held in quiet corners.

I spend so much time obsessing over pictures, it’s easy to lose track that the best ones are the most personal, the most simple, and the most honest. Here are some photos of myself, my friends, and a few places that held me for a moment.
