Here come the ghost tattoo specials!

I did these 2 today and they were fun AF!

Ian, a native Brooklynite who got the first ever pizza ghost tattoo has been eyeing a ghost for a while; he told me he calls them “Ghosts of New York” because I draw them doing all sorts of NY shit. I love it and now that’s what they’re called

Then Sebastian, who I learned was the last tenant before us at @brooklyntattoo and got tattooed by @ryoaustokyo and @weelow71 at #brooklyntattoo many years ago, fulfilled his wish to get tattooed by my goofy ass! We switched the ghost blunt to a trusty joint, caue that’s how the OG’s smoke.

Keep ‘em coming, people, 100 bucks all day for at least the next 2 weeks! Brooklyn Bridges too!

Winter is almost over and with this economy it hasn’t been easy!

Let’s do some cheap stuff to treat ourselves!

I didn’t have time to run the Ghost Special last October, and we’re early for the Brooklyn Bridge Anniversary Special, but screw it, let’s go for both!

$100 bridges and ghosts ‘til at least mid April.

I have flash for both. Customizations and locations may cost extra depending on the detail, scope and size.

If you want to buy a $100 special in advance, maybe for a gift, or you’re not in town this timeframe , I’m happy to do so and will honor it through the spring (ending June 21).

Special note: I love to do ghost word tattoos! However, more than one letter is more than one hundred. Contact me for pricing on those, they’ll still be special!

🐦‍⬛ Crows, for me, have become a symbol of truth and wisdom. Growing up in the PNW I have always loved crows and, while their sound might not be beautiful to some, it is music to my ears. My crow signifies speaking up for oneself as a part of healing one’s own trauma. Speaking up, regardless of what others may think— is it harsh? Is it ugly? Is it loud? Maybe so- but if it comes from truth then it is beautiful.

Our first tattoos!
In our 50’s.
Only @adamsuerte @brooklyntattoo would do.

Rings never stayed on either of us for long.

Why dragonflies?

Short answer:
I love watching them at the pond upstate in Treadwell NY. They represent freedom, evolution, and grace to me.
John and I share a love for them.

Long answer:
Dragonflies have been around for more than 300 million years and can be found globally.
They undergo a metamorphosis; maturing in water as aquatic nymphs, then growing wings. Fluttering across the surface of water, they symbolize our quest to seek beneath the surface to the deeper meaning.

In Native American and other cultures worldwide, dragonflies represent change, renewal, self-realization, and embracing the potential to achieve our hopes and dreams of freedom. Dragonflies teach us to be adaptable and to delve deeper, rejoice, love life, and have faith even in adversity.
This is our vow to each other in year 17 of our marriage @adimlwpd @selfregulatedparent
