A Woolen Affair has become my favorite satellite event during the NY Sheep & Wool festival weekend. I may be a bit biased because it is an event organized by the brilliant team at my local yarn store @brooklyngeneralstore ✨

@purlsoho’s brick-and-mortar store was the place where I first connected with the knitting community in 2017. I met several of the closest friends in the fiber arts community because of their knit nights, and we travel to the Rhinebeck every year together as part of annual tradition. It felt so fitting and full circle to shop from Purl Soho’s booth, and to share a bit of our story with their staff🤍 they are still one of my favorite yarn brands to work with and I can’t wait to knit up my next Rhinebeck sweater in their yarn!

One of my projects this autumn is a sweater for my husband. Choosing the yarn and colours turned into quite a saga, and I ended up knitting three different swatches. After a month of preparation, everything is finally ready. Time to cast on. ♥️

@whistlinggirlknits wins the sleuthing prize! She guessed @brooklyntweed Quarry from my last post, and it turns out I acquired a single skein ages ago from a destash. Mystery solved! Lovely yarn that invites gentle hands and extra breath. Big thanks to BT for their craft, Sarah for her eagle eyes, and Claire @perfectlyknotted for this pattern (Ridgeline Toque) that’s still a fave after knitting so many. #knittingtheworldtogether

Kocham tweedy i nie mogę odżałować, że @brooklyntweed wycofał się z produkcji włóczek. Zdążyłam udziergać tylko po jednym swetrze ze świetnych Loft i Shelter (tylko spójrzcie na te kolorowe nupki).
ALE... już za chwilę opowiem Wam o moim nowy włóczkowym crushu 😍

Fioletowy zwyklaczek najlepszy na #sweaterweather 🍂💜
Jeden z najbardziej popularnych wzorów na Rav, który zawsze chciałam wydziergać, ale zawsze odkładałam go na "kiedyś", aż... wycofali włóczkę, na którą jest zaprojektowany, a którą też zawsze chciałam wypróbować.
Ale od czego jest drugi obieg. Wpisałam hasło na Vinted i znalazłam idealny kolor i ilość u pewnej Czeszki, która nawet napisała w ogłoszeniu, że to były jej zapasy na The Weekender 😁
