In an industry that simply does not have enough female representation, there’s also no shortage of people becoming DJs for all of the wrong reasons.

Who am I to pass this judgement… nobody really, but it’s an important distinction to make when talking about Brook Powers 💪

A corporate CEO, she hardly needs a side hustle… but when one looks under the hood so to speak, you become fully aware it’s a passion project above all else.

During her set a few months ago at Linear, it didn’t take long for us to realize how good she really is… and trust me when I say my wife doesn’t dole out compliments to DJs very easily 😮‍💨

All of that said, I’m honored to have someone the caliber of Brook Powers joining us at 9:30 PM on Friday, July 17

***please note the event ends around midnight, so the timing you see is not a typo***

🎂 Fri 7/17 · 8:30PM–12AM · Underground Lounge + Patio · 21+ · No Cover

What. The. Hell is he doing? Good question. To me it's a simple example of tunnel vision, that most people are stuck in each day.

It's seductive and dangerous. Especially now...

Here's your invitation to join us this Thursday, June 25th in Grand Rapids, MI for a timely way to break out of tunnel vision to create a more enjoyable life and career 🎉

One of the core ingredients of my teachings for business groups, and at my own live events the past 15 years, is to encourage people to break out of the mental ruts of excessive fear and doubt.

To jump into life with an attitude of daily learning and fascination with the journey of life.

To not become cynical, jaded, or play victim their whole life.

To finally drop and let go of the old, disempowering stories that weigh down their body, mind and spirit.

To have fun with the gift of each new day versus taking life for granted 🌞

To find the lessons when things are clicking and the lessons when things seem to be stacked against you.

To see life as an amazing ride that only you design, not someone else.

And...to remind you to laugh more each day. You're alive. That alone is a huge privilege that millions who pass on each week wish they still had a chance to enjoy 🙏🏻

If you're interested in breaking out of tunnel vision, see the 🔗 in my IG bio with details and to register for a special public event next week in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Thursday, June 25th where I'll dive deeper into getting more from life 🎉
