✨she is everything beautiful and bright, good, sweet and warm, and the most genuine soul. a long overdue post to forever remember the best weekend in San Diego at my grandparent’s home - it was absolute magic! grateful she found her true love and even more grateful trev is the same kind of soul made just for her ✨ she’s glowing with happiness and we love them!!!!!

We called it “Dear Mom.”

The setup was simple: tell a few local mothers they’d won a free Mother’s Day portrait and a gift card to Bella’s. Bring them down to Utah City. Sit them in front of a camera. Hand them a letter their kid wrote, and capture what follows.

That was the trick. The portrait was real. The gift card was real. But the thing we actually brought them there for, was the letter.

What we got back was something else entirely.

We sat with a mother about to have her fifth. Another sending her oldest off to Albania on a mission. A cancer survivor. A cheerleader who hasn’t missed one of her son’s games. A baker who’d pulled sixty loaves of sourdough out of the oven that morning before she came to see us.

Women who somehow keep everyone around them fed, held, seen—and still find a minute to notice their kid is becoming an individual deserving of their own path.

Before a place becomes a community, somebody is doing that work. Usually quietly. Usually a mother.

So.

Dear Moms,

Thank you.

What made this wedding party even more beautiful besides all their pretty faces was the gorgeous @birdygrey bridesmaid dresses (so glad I picked this color, and let all the girls pick the dress that fit their body the best). And of course the most gorgeous tux on all the men @birdygreysuits I drool over these pics with how incredible everyone looked! #birdygrey #birdygreypartner #birdygreysuits

The fun thing about @cedarskies_barn is after you get married you walk over and ring the bell the make it official! But little did Rob know after we rang that bell I had a 6 man marching band @bigwybb guiding us to cocktail hour. All of us were handed white napkins to spin in the air as we headed on over to the next events while they played when the saints go marching in. It was so much fun I could not wipe the smile off my face. It brought so much energy and kicked off cocktail hour perfectly! Also we were both handed old fashioneds (one of our signature drinks) I truly never enjoyed a drink more. @sister_events were always so great at having my drink always full!
