Subtle and sneaky baseball trick 👌🏽 I see what you did there @brookslee22 @cooperbenson17 @conkcsu @ben_newton12 @klubhouseslo Especially for kids 😉 they think it’s just a way to goof off and have fun before the work starts 🔥 But what they don’t know are the benefits in throwing, and playing with a 🏈 Here’s the science of throwing ⚾️⬇️ A football encourages athletes to use their entire kinetic chain—from the ground through the hips, trunk, shoulder, arm, and hand. And the SPIRAL🌀 Instant feedback on release mechanics, hand position, and forearm orientation. It creates movement variability by introducing different arm paths and release patterns without repeatedly throwing a baseball. Then when you add competition in the catch 💪 Two athletes sprinting, looking over their shoulders, and competing to catch the same football are training: ✔️ Visual tracking and spatial awareness ✔️ Balance, agility, and body control ✔️ Acceleration and deceleration ✔️ Decision-making under pressure Because the movement is unpredictable, athletes must adapt instead of repeating a rehearsed throwing pattern. It’s a sneaky and perfect way to develop adaptable, coordinated players through movement variability, athleticism, and progressive throwing 🎯 The kids are just playen… the perfect setting for their brains and bodies to learn and grow. 🧠💪 Follow us @wholesum_clinic: we believe better movement creates the foundation for better performance, and whether your a competitive youth athlete or just someone hoping to pick up your grandchildren at 80, variability in your training is so key to making sure you are read for anything 🙌🏽 Follow @klubhouseslo for other baseball events in their new facility 🔥⚾️ #baseball #baseballdrills #baseballscience
