Royal bound 2026! 🥹🤍.

So proud of my perfect boy, looking back on our last and first Royal last year in the children’s hunters I am so proud of how he did. He wound up getting 5th, 7th and 6th in the hack. Here’s to another year at the most special show venue, I am so grateful to say we have qualified again.

So proud that Gatsby has qualified in every division he has done this summer! I remember the horse he was when I first got him and I can’t believe how far he has come in only our first show season together and in these divisions🥹

I’m so excited for my first big eq final and Gatsby’s first royal and I wouldn’t rather do it with any other dino. 🦕

Some seriously creative costumes took over the hunter ring yesterday afternoon for the $3,500 Hunter Spectacular & Team Challenge sponsored by Apple Saddlery! 🏆

Congratulations to our winners, Brooklyn Winfield and Archetype! Team “Catch of The Day” also reeled in some big wins, earning both the top combined team score AND best team costume! 🎣👏

"Trillium still has a lot of meaning to me, because I grew up there. It's a small community of people that look out for each other...This community is there to help"

And after another Trillium Champs, these words ring so incredibly true to me 💌

Champs week was busy, but so incredibly fulfilling. I got to watch horses and riders have some of the best rounds of the season, accomplish goals, and experience every emotion that comes with caring about something this much. I watched people win and lose, smile and cry, laugh and celebrate. I watched trainers offer words of support from the in-gate, families film faithfully, friends celebrate each other, and horses get all the pats they deserved. Along the way, I found myself reflecting on how lucky I am to get to call it my job to pay attention to all of it

This was my fourth year photographing Trillium Championships, and I still don't take for granted what a privilege it is. Trillium has been part of my life for a long time. I grew up competing this circuit and showing at Champs. I know how important and magical this week is, and now I get to be a little part of the magic for you all

I am especially grateful to the Trillium show organizers for their media policy this year to protect the OPs. Knowing that my hard work had a fair opportunity to be rewarded gave me the confidence to pour 120% of myself into this week. Because I care deeply about doing this well. I care about showing up fully, paying attention, and giving every horse and rider the same effort. I care about taking the photos you've spent the year dreaming of, and capturing the week in a way you'll always want to remember

I left Champs exhausted, covered in arena dirt, severely behind on sleep, and with more photos to edit than I care to think about. But more than anything, I left feeling incredibly lucky. Lucky that I get to do work I care this much about. Lucky that people trust me to preserve the moments that matter so much to them. And incredibly lucky that every year I get to spend the last week of August with you all at Champs 🫶🏻

The Parks ll 🤍🦕⚾️

Not quite the show I was hoping for, but still a great learning experience. We finished 1st in the 0.75m Jumper Medal and Children’s Hunter under saddle, and 4th in the A Equitation on the Flat.

This show reminded me that not every show is going to go exactly the way you want it to, and it’s important to learn from every experience.

Very excited for the Ottawa International next week! 🤍🦕⚾️

✨The Parks l✨

Stan was such a good boy this weekend! We both got to step back into the jumper ring and had so much fun. Stan took me around the ring very confidently in the 0.90 and the Harriet Cherry Jumper Medal.

We ended up finishing 2nd in the A Equitation on the Flat and 6th in the Harriet Cherry Jumper Medal. I’m so grateful of this amazing horse and looking forward to the parks ll. 🤍🦕⚾

Stanford was an absolute gentleman throughout the first week at the Ottawa Summer Tournament. We were fortunate enough to win the A Equitation on the Flat. I’m incredibly grateful to have such a forgiving horse who continues to help me learn and grow as a rider, especially when I make mistakes.

Looking forward to continuing to learn together and seeing what the rest of the season has in store. 🤍🦕⚾️

Ottawa Summer Tournaments

Gatsby and I had some of our best rounds yet and these two weeks definitely reflected our progress together 🤍

Week 1: Gatsby had top ribbons in the juniors and finished the week by helping me WIN the JC medal out of 13 🥇

Gatsby was also so brave, doing his first bigger derby on the grass with Chloe and finished just outside the top 10 in a very competitive class 💕

Week 2: Gatsby was 2nd in the JC after completing our first eq testing together! 💙 We also had great rounds in the juniors finishing with two class wins in the hack and the stake round just missing reserve! ❤️ We also finished with a win in the A eq o/f! 🫶

I’m so proud to see all of our hard work, early mornings and 12 hour days pay off and I can’t wait to keep developing our partnership ☺️

✨Monssieur Stanford à Bécancour!✨

Stan was absolutely incredible, and I’m so proud of how much we grew together throughout the week.

This was my first away show, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to experience it with.

We put in our best trip yet in the Hunter Classic, despite an unfortunate rail. Regardless, I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made so far, and I believe that round was a true reflection of how far we’ve come.

I’m beyond grateful for this horse and everyone who made this experience possible.
