Master(ed).

Today I walked across the stage and received a Masters of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the #1 Masters HRM program in the nation. FIU’s 12-month accelerated program has tested me in every way this year but I’m so grateful for this opportunity! Thank you to my Cohort for allowing me to be our MSHRM student advisory board representative!

This degree is dedicated to my grandparents. Wiggle Wiggle, Grandma Minnie, and Frannie, thank you for paving the way and constantly supporting me. Pops and Nana, thank you for being my guardian Angels, watching over me. I pray that I continue to make y’all proud!

I’m officially Jazmin Styles, MSHRM ❤️🥳

Presenting one of the Regenerate Society, Inc.’s new Founding Members, Mrs. Abigail Little from Anniston, Alabama & Atlanta, Georgia! ✨ @slimgem6

The last of our seven founders to join the organization in March 2018, Mrs. Little began her journey with RS serving under the title of Volunteer Team Lead! In the beginning, she helped organize and structure how we managed volunteer recruitment and connection opportunities. But with her skillsets heavily rooted in personal development as well, it was not long before her role was elevated to serve on the Executive Board. Transitioning from VTL to Chief of Member Development in 2020, Abby began setting her sights on how to truly elevate and impact the lives of those that came through our program. She began working one-on-one with our members to establish development goals, coordinating bonding activities, and leading recruitment opportunities across multiple campuses and city areas. After becoming an official mental health aid, Mrs. Little began serving our members as an available resource to aid them through some of their daily struggles. From the small days of having only a handful of volunteers, Abby has elevated our organization into a full-fledged, multilayered membership program that has helped numerous individuals find their way in life through RS.

When not behind the administrative side of RS (or using her graphic design skills to help create fantastic designs), Abby is a warrior in the community! Some of her early RS achievements include coordinating a Youth Symposium to equip high schoolers with life skills, consistently serving as a pillar in our Saturday Service efforts, and finding new opportunities to connect RS with NPHC affiliated organizations to further enhance the impact for those in need. Often contributing efforts that are so great, that in 2020, Abby was recognized as our first ever Female Performance of the Year recipient!

We are grateful to have Mrs. Little and we are excited to recognize her efforts from here on out as that of a Founder of the Regenerate Society, Inc. ♻️

Presenting one of the Regenerate Society, Inc.’s new Founding Members, Ms. April Moton from Camden, Alabama! ✨ @a_shan_mo

The first member to ever join our organization outside of the original five, April Motion came on board as our Community Outreach Coordinator in December 2017. With her interests in criminal justice and community advocacy, April jumped right in and began using her resources to elevate our outreach platform! Beginning with initiatives that served Hoover City Schools & Birmingham City Schools, she was able to coordinate many different resource drives to help community groups such as displaced women & children, elementary school children, and even elementary teachers as well. April worked diligently to connect RS with areas impacted by natural disasters such as Jacksonville State University and inter-Birmingham communities for tornado-relief efforts. Ms. Moton also helped us achieve major financial successes. Being a non-profit that heavily relies on the donations of our community, April was able to set the pace as one of our leading fundraisers throughout her two seasons of active service!

After graduating and relocating, April now serves as one of our Board of Directors. She provides advisement to our current Executive Board in areas such as the same Outreach division she laid the foundation for and external relations with communities outside of Birmingham.

We are grateful to have Ms. Moton and we are excited to recognize her efforts from here on out as that of a Founder of the Regenerate Society, Inc. ♻️

Today, the Regenerate Society, Inc. is proud to officially announce that Mrs. Abigail Little, Ms. Briauna Perryman, and Ms. April Moton, will be recognized from here on as founding members of our organization! ✨🧱

Since our very humble beginnings on the 4th floor of Hertiage Hall, the Regenerate Society, Inc. has seen many evolutions. From a collective of five individuals crammed into a studio apartment that only looked to grow and build with each other, we have grown into something greater that only God himself could have designed. Throughout each of our changes and iterations, these three women have come on board and committed themselves to help build what you see today, brick-by-brick.

Beginning with Ms. Moton in December 2017, Ms. Perryman in January 2018, and Mrs. Little in March 2018, each of these ladies have carried the torch to help us in numerous fashions. From leading service efforts, to creating marketing strategies, building relationships within the city, helping develop the young people in our program, crafting social efforts to bond and connect, and even now serving upon our Board of Directors, each one of these great women have left an undeniable thumbprint upon the foundation we currently stand on.

We now ask that you join us in celebrating our three newest founders of the Regenerate Society, Inc.! Throughout the week, you will find out more about the respective contributions of each founder. ♻️
