A New Chapter Begins!

I’m incredibly grateful and excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic journey at Minnesota State University Moorhead! 🐉⚽️

Soccer has given me so much more than just a game. It has brought me incredible teammates, coaches, friendships, challenges and lessons that have helped shape me into the person and player I am today.

To every coach and teammate who has believed in me, challenged me, and pushed me to become better along the way, thank you. I’m so grateful for every person who has been part of this journey.

To my parents and sisters … thank you for your endless love, encouragement, sacrifices and for always being in my corner. I truly wouldn’t be here without you. You guys are my biggest inspiration and motivation in life. I love you all!

Thank you to Coach Scott, Coach Richard, and the rest of the coaching staff for giving me this opportunity and for believing in me.

And above all, I give all glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for guiding my path, opening doors, and walking with me through every step of this journey.

I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead, ready to keep growing on and off the field and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what I love. GO DRAGONS! ⚽️🐉❤️‍🔥

Behind every jersey is a person.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among NCAA athletes, behind accidents. Athletes are put under so much pressure to constantly preform their best and get results. Sports can become an athlete’s whole identity, and when their sport gets taken from them, they aren’t preforming their best, or an injury occurs, they might have a hard time knowing who they are off the field.

Your worth isn’t determined by how well you played or whether or not you made the game-winning shot. Each athlete and person has their own life, struggles, and battles you may never see.

Be the teammate who provides support, encourages others, and reminds everyone how they are valued not only on the field, but in life as well.

Love your teammates, be kind to one another, and check in with each other even when someone seems to be doing fine.

You are never alone. 💜🩵
