Time for an UNBELIEVABLY, dreamy story & it’s all thanks to @amira.ashe 💖

In 2011, I was a sophomore at OU & working as a server at Logan’s Roadhouse in Norman. On Wednesdays, once we all clocked out, we would load up in our cars - or my Chevy s10 with the bucket seat - and head to OKC for ROBOTIC WEDNESDAYS🤖 IYKYMFK! In the middle of the week, we would dance & party all night long to EDM at @kampslounge THE best DJs performed there like @baauer @12thplanet @crizzly @brosafari @troyboi @wiwekdj @killthenoise @araabmuzik plus residents @crystalvsn @ed_crunk @gosteffects @djjessestrange & @love.me.tndr I even arranged my schedule so I wouldn’t have class on Thursday mornings. We would put our heads inside the woofers or bang them over the rail until our necks hurt. Getting photographed was absolutely necessary & the bathroom was the smallest of all time, with the longest line ever. The bass hit so hard, the ceiling would crumble. There was even a box/platform to dance on, next to the DJ, in front of the crowd (slide 7 dancing for @crizzly ) just like I did a few months ago. Easily top 5 of my favorite moments in college & many times, what got me through hard days.
It was ICONIC. Etched into my brain for eternity.

Fast forward THIRTEEN years to this summer & @bizarreentertainment booked me to dance @labrasaokc As soon as I pulled up, I realized it wasn’t just La Brasa— I was hired to dance at KAMPS!!!!! The EXACT building where I truly found myself through EDM & made unforgettable, beautiful, treasured friendships.
I cried so many happy tears! I was mind blown, still am. The universe knew I’d be back someday… different event, different name but under the same roof that we blew off every Wednesday for years.

Swipe through to see some of the best memories of my life — ROBOTIC BABE FOREVER🫶🏼🎶💋

📸 @dougonius @dasphoto THANK YOU for capturing the best music-filled moments I’ve ever experienced💞
