DON’T TOUCH MY HAIR: An Interactive Crowned Experience
🚨Exciting Announcement: A groundbreaking hair sovereignty installation is taking root—
a seed for a future expanded project that will grow to include Indigenous and multicultural artists whose relationships to hair, land, and lineage carry equally powerful stories.

Join us as we honor the sacredness of Black and Indigenous hair through an immersive experience that blends ancestral memory, interactive technology, and community testimony.

Born from a deep need for cultural respect—not curiosity tourism—Don’t Touch My Hair creates space for conversations too often muted: consent, embodiment, heritage, and the sovereignty of our hair.

📍 Phoenix, OR — Langford Art Gallery, in partnership with the Phoenix Art & Culture Council (PACC) and BASE: Black Alliance & Social Empowerment, will open the exhibition on January 3, 2026, at 4850 S. Pacific Hwy in Phoenix, Oregon.

💎Crystal Proffitt — Lead Artist
• Mixed-media, cultural lineage
🔥Micah Blacklight
• Afrofuturist embodiment
📸Ally White
• Cinematic portraiture
💡Robert Quattlebaum
• Interactive light sculpture

This is more than an exhibition.
It’s a call to witness.
A call to listen.
A call to honor.
More details and contributors coming soon. Stay tuned, stay open, and—always—keep your hands to yourself unless they’re offering love, respect, or liberation.

We launched our ship to the stars and discovered the Wonderland we sought was here all along, just waiting for us to tap in, expand out, and boogie✨🪐

White Rabbit Clubhouse is officially open with 80+ founding members, a dynamic constellation of creative projects, and awesome parties with boundary pushing art. A huge thank you to everyone who’s made this journey possible including our lovely team who have worked tirelessly to put everything together, and our founding members for trusting us and building our community!
