Let’s go over 3 common mistakes when doing Ombre Powder Brows!! ✅

1️⃣ Improper Pigment depth: working in the upper dermis, anything implanted below that will result in grayish, blue or ashy brows.

2️⃣ Working too far outside hair structure, resulting in unnatural, clockable brows.

3️⃣ Improper Pigment color: Need to take into consideration all these factors:
✨Natural hair color
✨skin type
✨skin undertone!

I got my first face tat!—aka my eyebrows🤭

I’ve never had full brows, and in middle school my right one got sliced open by a softball.

The hair never grew back the same after that!—so doing my brow makeup every day has always been super important to me.

So much so that I FINALLY got them microshaded!👏

Over the next few weeks my brows will go through the following healing process:

Days 1-4
Freshly done and are probably appearing darker/more bold than expected. They were swollen the first day and a little itchy over the last two.

Days 5-14
They’ll scab, peel, and flake off like a normal tattoo. Some of the pigment will fade and patchiness may occur. They will appear their lightest before the pigment comes back.

Days 14-28
Healing process will finish and the brown pigment will appear more settled in and natural as they take their final shape and shade.

Weeks 6-8
A touch up session will occur to correct any issues with healing, fill in any patchiness, and make sure the brows are exactly how I want them.

My eyebrows have gone through MANY phases over the years but I can happily say they are SO CLOSE to reaching their final form.

My heart was so warm making this reel 😭!

Sometimes I wonder where I’d be if I didn’t listen to my heart. I would be lying if I said that there wasn’t moments in my career where I fell off from feeling defeated with my work. I still remember going back to school to have something to fall back on if PMU didn’t work out for me but my heart always gravitated back to brows.

This video cured my impostor syndrome 😭😂😂! I can see clearly now that it isn’t all from luck. I worked hard and kept practicing on my days off to have a better understanding and advancing my skills to be at the level it’s at. This isn’t the end, I’m only going to level up more and more 🫶🏻.
