I learned a ton of skills including organizational skills, multi-tasking, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills.

🎓 Favorite Lambda memory?
When we all made tamales together for one of our fundraisers. We spent the entire day together, which is one of my fav things to do: hang out with my sisters :)

🌹Why did you choose Lambda Theta Nu?: Upon coming to the University of lowa, I knew that I wanted to find a space where I felt welcomed and understood as a first-generation Latina woman and student. The ladies of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. have been able to create and be this space for me. They are all empowering, confident, and outstanding ladies who have a true bond within each other and are all continuously pushing each other to achieve their goals. I knew that I wanted to be a part of this bond to be able to continue to grow personally and professionally and to also aid and be a part of the journey of sisters growing personally and professionally. I am so happy to now say that I am a proud brown sister of Lambda Theta Nu🌹⚔️🤍

I am so grateful to have been apart of such a great org this year as a coleader for Latin America. This is my thank you.

To Alyssa,
Thank you for being the best colead I would have asked for. I had so much fun working along side you for the past year and I’m sad we can’t do it again. I know it wasn’t easy but we made it work and still did our thing. We came together as coleaders, as friends, as Latinas to put on an amazing show and it was a big huge thanks to you. There isn’t anyone else I would’ve rather had as my coleader. I love you sm ❤️

To our dancers,
Ladiesssss!! I’m soooo proud of each and everyone of y’all. Without you, we literally wouldn’t have had a group this year. It wouldn’t be possible without y’all. Seeing everyone start from scratch, not knowing moves to absolutely killing it for the show was a proud teacher moment for me 🥹 we came together as a family to show out. I loved getting to know y’all and watching the friendships between everyone grow 💐❤️

To our family and friends,
Thank you to supporting us every step of the way. From the mirage to our fundraisers to finally our big show this past Saturday. Our production wouldn’t have been as great as it was if it hadn’t been for you all. I appreciate it so much and it didn’t go unnoticed!🫶🏽

Thank you for creating an accepting space where we can express who we are and where we come from. I’ve found my home here in this student org, made many friendships and memories with people who I would have never crossed paths with if it weren’t for this.
