At the center of our city where our three rivers meet, is where all our roots gather. From our music festivals to our sports games, many of our communities come together in the city to share our culture and many times stand in solidarity. In this post I will be highlight 6 people that have been showing off and support our city with style.

Thank you to the city that raised me and created one of the most interesting African-American cultures I'm proud to have my roots in. When I learned the amazing history of black people (especially art) in our city I grew love and want to preserve our black history. So keep shining Pittsburgh!

P.S. After many failed attempts I'm happy to have this posted even though it's late.

When grantmaking is rooted in trust, the impact speaks for itself.

At our recent Grant Recipient Dinner, community leaders shared what The Hear Foundation’s support has made possible — from mental health care to street-level youth outreach.

No red tape. No unnecessary hoops. Just real support for real work.

Because when we invest in people — not just programs — the results multiply.

Back in late March I sat down with the amazing Miracle Jones to discuss my journey, mental health and hip hop preservation for @brunchwithablackman . The world can feel like it’s upside down, but with gratitude, self care, mental awareness and knowledge of self prepares me to push through and push back the madness. Best believe Black Men’s mental health is faced with a unique set of obstacles, here I discuss my perception. See the full video in my bio.
