Some more Catching Fire behind the scenes pics… you simply had to be there when these dropped

The first picture of Enobaria in District 2 really makes me wish we could see more of the other Districts in SOTR, maybe through another victory tour montage 🙌🏻

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) (Prime)
8.9/10

This iconic scene of #catchingfire was shot the very day after Jennifer won the Academy award for silver linings playbook in Hawaii. Her total professionalism getting right back down there in the dirt and blood and with the troops is something that I will never forget personally as I was the one who did her make up for this particular scene. Also symbolically this is for everyone on the planet today. In this generation, we must resist and always fight for peace. #thankyou @panem_archives @tellezcustomprops @thehungergames #makeupartist #filmmaking #brilliant Jennifer Lawrence @suzannecollinswritesbooks 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽 @lionsgate

Officer Downe (2016) Based on the graphic novel, a police officer who can’t be stopped by death returns to the streets time and time again to fight crime.
Well the movie starts with an orgasm counter graphic on the screen. Lots of naked ladies, very cartoony looking villains that look like they are straight from an updated Joel Schumacher Batman film. Lots of basic primary colored lighting and villains with Spirit Halloween animal masks.
Sometimes rockstars should just be rockstars...and not try to act.
Even this as a graphic novel I would have put this down. It’s like a soft core porno fever dream.
Add in the dead cop becomes super cop ala Robocop via Frankenstein methods.
Glenn Howerton with an Australian accent is hilarious though. And there is a shot used outside of Paddy’s Pub.
The movie has a slight slide into a sci-fi fantasy realm. Unless you enjoy really cheesy bad/good action films with sub par acting this is definitely for you.
Coates understands the assignment and chews up the scenery. (4 out of 10)(R) Starring Kim Coates, Luna Lauren Velez, Sona Eyambe, Reno Wilson, Meadow Williams, Chris Fehn, Corey Taylor, Bruno Gunn, Glenn Howerton, Tracy Vilar, and Alison Lohman
Directed by Shawn Crahan
