October 7, 2023 → October 7, 2026.

Three years have passed since we were forced to leave our homes, our memories, our schools, and the life we once knew.

Three years of displacement, living in tents, hunger, loss, destruction, and uncertainty — while still holding on to the hope of rebuilding our lives.

I never imagined that three years later, I would be standing among the ruins instead of standing in my home.

Yet here we are… still trying to survive, still hoping, and still asking the world not to forget us.

Gaza is not just a place. It is our home, our memories, and our lives. 🖤🇵🇸

If you can help, even with a small donation or by sharing my story, please do.

Your support can help me and my family get through another day.

Riley Osborn (OSN 2025) is a writer and illustrator based in Atlanta, GA. Their work explores the intimacy of the unseen and a longing to archive the ephemeral. Lately, they’ve been fascinated with dreamscapes and the necessity of dream archival in creating a connected community.

Riley graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and a double minor in French Language and Industrial Design. While in school, they engaged in community work both locally and worldwide. They worked with the local Atlanta government to clean up rat infestations in neighborhoods displaced by gentrification, and conducted research to monitor and ensure fair voting processes in multiple countries’ elections. They also taught music every week to first-graders at an academy in West Atlanta, to offer fun and communal activities for young kids that needed somewhere safe to stay after school.

In the past two years, Riley has continued growing their community in Atlanta through multiple paths. Gardening with their friends, renting a theater for movie nights, hosting dinners at their house — it all centers on their passion for making spaces where people can play, laugh, and create. As they’ve emerged more seriously in the world of writing, they’ve also participated in local critiques and a number of workshops up the east coast. From 2021 - 2023, they were a founding member of a multidisciplinary critique club that met bimonthly. In both 2023 and 2024, they were accepted on scholarship to Passenger Press’s fall workshops, in which they wrote and shared work weekly with a group of 5 writers across the United States. Most recently, they formed a group called Writer’s Block, where writers across Atlanta can write and discuss assignments in person every week. They look forward to watching this space bloom, by organizing readings and group publications.

More to come still, but the @atlantafilmfestival is officially over, so here's a little more love for the second trip @juliadaighh and I took to be there for the end of it last weekend. I guess I just like posting videos where my hair looks like shit! Got to do an encore of our shorts block, went to the awards ceremony, made new friends. I ❤️ ATL
