Four years ago, I remember seeing a spread in Vogue about our Queen @mindykaling hosting a Diwali dinner for inspiring South Asian women. It was this stunning display of desi culture and excellence in America. I had goosebumps.

I thought - maybe I could create something like that for my little community of South Asian storytellers... so last year, for the first time, I did!

Somehow, this year, this celebration grew even bigger and brighter - and included producers, writers, reporters, correspondents, authors, editors, media executives, filmmakers, content creators and community leaders 🙌🏽

So grateful for every single person who helped make this night magical! @divyelly @unitedtalent @the_gutenberg @nynewswomenclub @rampursinglemalt @gregoryandvine + Blackrock for believing in the vision.
