some people may look at my career and call it wasted. i call it opportunistic, humbling, destined, and meaningful.

what is meant for you will always find you. i spent months emailing coaches for just an opportunity to wear a collegiate jersey for one last time. the final email i sent, was answered within a few days, followed by a phone call, and ended with a commitment to a NCAA DII school. people hear the word “walk-on” and just think upgraded manager. it’s about being on the team roster but working your ass off twice as much to prove to yourself that you belong. doing the little things right had to be mastered and doing the things that others wouldn’t think to do while they’re playing, and that is bringing energy, encouragement, and composure to your teammates that are called to perform their best on the court. So why not try my best to keep them confident during mistakes, keep them positive in times of doubt, and be the best teammate i can be.

my last collegiate year of basketball was the realest season i’ve ever had in my entire college career. it was also the most empowering and impactful to me as a player. emailing Coach @_mario_caetano_ for an opportunity to play 1 more year was the best decision i’ve ever made for myself. i was surrounded by greatness everyday (my teammates & coaches @angelline.isabella @b.rodgerss ) and it was amazing to see them do amazing things and be a part of their growth. i’m grateful for the connections this sport has given me and my next goal is to give back in every way I can.

thank you to those that supported me endlessly and kept me grounded during times I doubted whether or not I was good enough to play at this high level. I truly believe going through the 2 years of hardship, set me up for prosperity.

i am forever grateful, humble, and appreciative for the journey an orange ball has taken me.
