Family. Fun. Florida. ⁣
⁣
Lu and I had such a fun day exploring a new place in Orlando. East End Market. We met up with our friends Bryan + Luka who we love like family. We shopped. We ate. Explored vintage stores. Drank tons of coffee and laughed so hard. ⁣
⁣She used her own money to buy all.the.pop it.things and Luka treated her to some fun stickers for her new hydro flask that big sis just gave her for school next year. ⁣(she’s already planning ahead-ha!)
⁣
I love that there is always something new to discover in Florida and discovering it with dear friends is even better. ❤️⁣

Goodbye 2021. Hello 2022! ⁣
⁣
It was a rollercoaster of a year for sure. Heading into 2021 after the loss of one of my besties was so incredibly hard and here we are doing it again heading into 2022 with the loss of my sweet Momma. ⁣
⁣
Although these last few months feel like one big blur and have been so incredibly difficult and heartbreaking, I’m grateful for every single moment with my mom. And what memories we have too! Our Christmas cards, our family trips, our traditions, our coffees, our talks and all of our laughs. They are what sustain my still hurting heart. ⁣
⁣
I’m so thankful for my Hubster and our girls and the family bond we’ve had during this grief. I’m also thankful for our sweet friends and their mountains of support. ⁣
⁣
Even with all of the heaviness of this profound loss, this year did have some major moments of JOY! ⁣
⁣
The launch of the first ever SeaWorld podcast with my NAME on it (I mean, whaaat?!😭), our family trips, time with precious friends, a new church we love, a tv show pitch with a dear friend, our vow renewal, a teenage driver, a new basketball player, shopping fun at Shoo Shoo Baby Boutique, and our fourth year in the sunshine state! ⁣
⁣
I’m so grateful for you hanging out with me here and for loving on our family. I appreciate your kindness and support and look forward to spending 2022 with you! Happy New Year! ❤️⁣

🌟 Night of a Million Lights🌟⁣
⁣
We bought our tickets for Night of a Million Lights months ago after we saw that USA Today named it the "Number One Thing To Do In December In Orlando" when it debuted last year. Night of a Million Lights is a one-of-a-kind, fully immersive holiday lights spectacular available through January 2, 2022 at Give Kids The World Village.⁣
⁣
What is Give Kids The World Village?! It’s an 89-acre, whimsical non-profit resort that provides critically ill children and their families from around the world with magical weeklong wish vacations at no cost.⁣
⁣
You can watch a dancing lights show in a fairytale neighborhood; stroll amidst millions of lights, featuring a sparkling tree trail; enjoy festive music and holiday treats; take a tram ride through the storybook Village; visit a holiday marketplace; and create unforgettable memories at the place Where Happiness Inspires Hope. ⁣
⁣
We had so much fun with our friends last night and are excited for what is now one of our new favorite Orlando Holiday traditions. Thanks Give Kids The World Village! It was an amazing night with an even more amazing organization. ⁣

In good times, in bad times…⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I met my friend Bryan years ago in Nebraska when our sweet, mutual friend Dana from @sugarwatermanor introduced us. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When Bryan and his Hubs, Luka moved to Florida, our families became instant friends. Bryan has been so wonderful during the whole journey with my mom. In fact, Momma Jane met the guys when they first came over for dinner and we had such a fun time together. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The night before mom passed away, Bryan so sweetly showed up to help decorate our front porch for Halloween and brought me a beautiful aromatherapy candle for my Birthday. He just seems to have impeccable friendship timing. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Today, the girls and I went to visit Bryan at @warehausorlando, where he’s the creative director. He put on a super fun HausFest Market and I found a couple of vintage records that I know Momma Jane would have loved. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It felt nice to get out, have coffee and spend some quality time with our friend. I may be back to boo hooing tomorrow but today? Today was a good day! ⁣⁣☀️
⁣⁣
That’s what friends are for. Thanks, Bryan! ❤️⁣⁣

If you’ve been by in the past few weeks, you’ve definitely noticed BIG changes happening inside the showroom, and we have THIS GUY RIGHT HERE to thank!! Warehaus has majorly stepped our game up and brought in a powerhaus creative mind to help us grow!! With that said, we are so thrilled and proud to introduce you guys to the new ✨Creative Director✨ here at Warehaus, say hi to Bryan!!

Bryan is an established & published interior designer through his company @blackawning, with a style all his own. He relies on his years of interior design, showroom styling experience and damn good instinct to make every space feel unique, inviting and intentional. His vision and creativity are elevating how we do things, what type of unique pieces and products we bring in and knows exactly how to make any haus feel like home. Make sure to swipe ⬅️ to see some of Bryan’s amazing design work, it’s a WHOLE VIBE you guys!!

✨Some fun facts about our guy Bryan:
He recently relocated to Orlando from Omaha, NE with his partner Luka and their 2 cat babes Peanut and Chester. He’s a sucker for anything Disney. He loves a good, authentic street taco. He’s got great hair (like ridiculously good) and is literally one of the warmest, most genuinely nice people you’re gonna meet. We’re so grateful to have him officially on our team and can’t wait to show to guys what Bryan is up to!!☀️😃🌈✌🏼

🎃Halloween 2021🎃⁣
⁣
When my friend Bryan from Black Awning Interiors so sweetly offered to BOO over our front porch, you KNOW he didn’t have to ask me twice. ⁣
⁣
Bonus… he handmade EVERYTHING! Our family and friends had so much fun being his “assistants”. What a super fun project. Grateful for his talent and kindness. 🧡🖤⁣
