It’s now time to introduce our final guest DJ. Our headliner @oceanroulette.

Ocean Roulette is a DJ and producer and one of the founders of @jacksoncollective. Although he produces tech house and other electronic music, his inspiration comes from psychedelic rock, indie rock, and years of playing in bands. We are beyond honored and frankly f*cking stoked to have him on our line-up.

Ocean Roulette’s career began in 2017 playing the iconic @spaceyacht. He plays at venues across Los Angeles and San Diego, including @sound_nightclub and @spinnightclub and has been on festival line-ups including @offthegridcampout and @afternoonumbrellafriends. He has releases on @forthosewhoneedrecords @auf.records @deserthearts @psychodiscorecs @inrotationmusic @boxofcatsmusic @teethyrecords @mediumrarerecs and @holymolemusic

Friday night is about to be one for the books! We swear we’re too good to y’all with this line-up! Sheesh.

“… has the crystal made its way around the circle yet?”

Incredibly grateful to have watched two of the most kind, talented, & genuine people I’ve ever known get (double) married ☺️💗

At the festival of the band I named my lizard after 11 years ago, nonetheless (despite 3 fake-outs, she’s still kickin’). Life is pretty cool that way 💫

ReFlexin EP 🪩
By @nulif3 out this Fri 7/31 on @slothacid 🦥

No matter who you are or where you’ve been, you can always start over fresh. For NuLif3, that’s not just a sentiment — it’s the mindset behind everything he does.
In his own words: ”It sucks sometimes, but be the change in the world you want to see.”

Since the project’s inception, NuLif3 who is currently based in Denver, has been building his presence on lineups across North America. His sound fuses minimal bass house with heavy tech house, with releases on Plasmapool, Phunk Junk Records, and more. He is also the founder of My Homies Spin Records (MHSR), a music collective and label dedicated to bringing up fellow artists.

Nulif3 tracks are built for the dancefloor - warped sound effects and dissonant chords winding across the stereo image, driven by an authenticity that comes through in both the music and his approach to the industry. NuLif3 wants people to rock with him for the right reasons. As far as he’s concerned, it’s the only way.

The ReFlexin EP arrives on SLOTHACID with two tracks and a story behind each.
“ReFlexin” was born during a retreat in Guadalajara, Mexico — a mirror dancing experiment that started playfully and quickly turned into something deeper. Ego death, hidden emotions surfacing, the release of self-consciousness. The track captures that exact moment of letting go and not caring
who’s watching, even if you’re the only one on the floor.
“Lookin At” is a different beast, exuding
pure afterparty energy: a darker cut packed with trippy robot noises, quirky beeps, and a driving bounce built for late-night psychedelic house heads.

We’re excited to have Nulif3 join the #slothfam officially! Thanks for listening and supporting us with a pre-save 👆📲

July 29th | FREE RSVP 🎷🎺💪
We’ve been doing something different at @mockingbird.denver for the past few months 🎺 Jazz on Larimer Street in Denver is historic, so it only made sense to bring a community oriented, jazz event that was free for the community, to this amazing space. So we decided to bring our project @sunsetjazzcafe to this incredible artist/visionary owned venue to celebrate local musicians and bring more jazz to Larimer ⚡️🎷🎺
.
We’ve been partnering with @eurekavapor going on a year and we just want to thank @sourtm & @meowyxjane for their support on these incredible events ❤️🔥
.
.
We also want to thank our sponsor Mash Gang @mash__gang for joining the team and sponsoring the rest of our series until October ❤️🎃 these are our FAVORITR bevvies right now and we can’t wait to introduce more Non Alcoholic Mash Gang to your life 🍻
.
Our next event is at the end of July - we’re focused on empowering more local musicians. Join us in our mission and we will see you soon 🔥✨🎷
