“Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awaken our hearts with joy, for good friends are like the anointing oil that yields the fragrant incense of God’s presence.”(Proverbs 27:9) - For some reason crying on your birthday tends to be the norm for a lot of people, including myself. But I told God that this year I did NOT want to cry on my birthday - Therefore I didn’t make any plans and asked God to take my birthday into His hands and do with it as He pleases - The result of this was a lot more peace in my mind; not all the pressure to have the perfect birthday - On my end I bought myself a bagel and took a nap, but then, the friends God blessed me with, surprised me with gifts and a surprise party💖
