Definitely a bold move making ADCC my first competition ever, especially signing up on a whim 😂. I went into it with really no expectations, and although I lost both matches, I honestly had so much fun. I met a bunch of incredible people and gained a lot of insight into what I need to work on.

There’s so much I still have to learn, but that’s part of it. I’m just excited to keep showing up, putting in the work, and continuing to grow and improve.

I also can’t thank @ryanmoutinho , @gebrilgrappling , and the entire team enough for all the support and encouragement. I’m so grateful!!

Definitely stepped outside my comfort zone with this one, and I plan to keep doing just that. I’m so glad I took the chance, and I can’t wait to keep learning, growing, and seeing where the comp life takes me! ❤️

While prioritizing staying in top, always looking to deal with the things that are in front of / touching us to get to our opponents hips to ultimately create chest-to-chest or chest-to-back.

What might be those things that are in front of us or that are touching us?

Regular round on YouTube now. Link in bio.

Went 1-1 this weekend at pans, overall my performance felt a lot better but still haven’t entirely broke through yet. At least it wasn’t a DQ. Very grateful to be in the arena and thankful for my training partners @truebeliever_jiujitsu and sponsors @foodfightbjj and @submissionsnax 📸: @matsandbats
