Words cannot describe how grateful I am for @jamesriver and @jamesriveryouth ! Some of the best 4 years of my life! I have seen thousands of people saved and healed! I will be forever marked by the people and the students of James River church! I have loved every minute!

Today was a very special day for the James River Church Joplin Campus. This morning we announced a coming transition as Elise and I will be stepping into a new role at James River Church.

8 years ago our family moved to Joplin to launch the JRC Joplin Campus and have had the time of our lives seeing God do remarkable things with some of the most wonderful people on the planet! We are so incredibly thankful to be a part of a church (and campus) that sees people saved, healed, encouraged, and restored every single week - it’s truly a blessing we don’t take for granted.

As the church continues to prepare for a lead pastor transition next March, Elise and I have been asked to step into an Executive Ministry role helping Pastor David and Pastor Brandon provide leadership to the campuses and various ministries in the church. We are so honored and incredibly excited to come alongside them in a new way in this next season!

We are also so thrilled for an AMAZING family that will be transitioning into the role of Joplin Campus Pastors on Sunday, August 2nd. Pastor Bryce and Megan Hargis have been on the JRC Leadership Team and served as the JR Youth Directors for the past 6 years and have done an outstanding job. Pastor Bryce and Megan, along with their 3 sons and daughter, have a huge heart for the church and we know they will take the Joplin Campus into its best, most effective ministry days ahead.

Elise and I feel so blessed to have been part of JRC for these past 15 years - We are so thankful for our incredible leaders @jlindell and @deblindell who for all these years have entrusted us with leadership and poured into us continually - they truly have changed our family’s lives forever.

We are excited to come alongside Pastor Bryce and Megan as we make this transition through the fall prior to our relocating to the Springfield area. Our hearts are full of gratitude for where we’ve been and filled with great anticipation for where God is leading us as a church and truly know the best days of the church are still ahead!
