What a loverly weekend of My Fair Lady!
Such a treat to get to share this beloved classic with our community.
The incredible talents of this cast brought this grand musical to life in the close, intimate setting of @newcanaanlibrary and swept us into the world of London at the turn of the century.
Thank you to all who came out and who supported CSC to bring these productions to our community!

Some pics and vids from my mini getaway yesterday to Connecticut to visit my cousin @lipstickandlibraries and to watch My Fair Lady in New Caanan to see and support Maria…….🎶Maria, Maria🎶…🎶who remind me of a West Side Story🎶🤷🏻‍♂️😏…….sorry @themariabilbao ..had to lol 😆😝

Anyway, as far as the show My Fair Lady itself; I really enjoyed it. I found it very entertaining as far as the amount of humor it had in it from start to finish. The musical numbers were performed admirably by the entire cast. Standout performance for me was @themariabilbao I felt she showed her range very well as far as her vocals and her acting as Eliza Doolittle. It was sweet, impressive, and alluring :)

But overall, I felt everyone had their moment in the spotlight so to speak! I also really enjoyed @michaelhalling and @scottwillisnyc ‘s performances as Professor Henry Higgins and Colonel Pickering respectively. In the end, it was a well-performed that was very enjoyable! The 6 days of rehearsals definitely paid off lol (if I recalled hearing that part correctly in the beginning haha)

I took more during bows but unfortunately this was the only one to come out decent enough 😢

Me and my cousin @lipstickandlibraries chillin after the show with “El Gato”…aka Gainsey (which is his real name but I just like to call him “El Gato” instead for no apparent reason🤷🏻‍♂️😂)

“El Gato” right after he jumped on my chest waking me up from my wonderful 7 hour sleep last night lol @lipstickandlibraries

Gainsey doing “El Gato” things and giving me the staredown @lipstickandlibraries

Finally got him to come back in order to pet him for a bit :) @lipstickandlibraries

Oh the treasures you find when you are cleaning your hard drive.

I meant to make this back in 2024 (oops) but I think it's even more nostalgic now to look back at these wonderful people. THE PROM was a very special month at "The Miracle of the Forest."

Thank you @fbplayhouse for everything 🫶🏽

Some behind the scenes moments from Newsies & Beautiful!

Testing out film on a stage is always so interesting with how the lighting will turn out! Newsies stage pic turned out extremely dark but I still think it’s so darn cute!

Corny was fun, but the best part by far was getting to watch my sister @shannonelamy absolutely tear down the house every single night! ❤️
