11 years. 1 moment. “King Condor” (v15) First Ascent

Somewhere in Connecticut lies a rock. A rock with a perfect rail up the center, an amazing finger bucket in the middle, and a perfect compression ending. For a decade, you could find @brycev123 here. Trying all sorts of beta combinations. In all those years, one move remained undone. What’s the trick???

This Sunday (8/2/26) watch and find out for yourself on the VEEZ YouTube channel.

It’s hot as hell so let’s watch some short films! Best part, we’re gonna have all the filmmakers and athletes around to answer questions and tell you all the stories that didn’t make the cut. Also, we’re hosting this at the YTC so it’s gonna be cool and air conditioned anyway. We got bevies but bring a chair and some snacks.

Impromptu summer session turned out to be a full value day full of good vibes! We sessioned a new potential layout for the board, grilled some burgers, and even made it out to some blocs. Big thanks to everyone that made it out. I hope we can make it happen again soon🙏

In 2023, just over 20 years after the first ascent of Speed of Life, Bryce Viola (@brycev123) did what he does best and pioneered the FA of Lifeline (V9). It begins the same as SOL but stays on the arete the entire way up the boulder!
-
“Legendary boulder. Just to the left of Speed of Life, this was a project always looming in plain sight. Intimidating enough to not try, but inspiring enough to never knock off the list.
Was surprised for it all to feel quite comfortable and secure on the rope, and thankful for a quick and pleasant process off the rope.
The holds and movement are fantastic.”

This boulder and many others are now closed! Help Save Farley by donating to the match campaign at the link in our bio!

Everytime I go to Font I am reminded of the beauty of the forest. I get to reconnect with nature and climbing and the playful side of the outdoors. This year was no exception. We had so many friends there, and I made some new ones along the way. I hope to see you next year!
