A Letter to New Mexico FFA 💌

Colossians 3:23-24
In everything, not only when their eye is on you and to praise their favor, but with sincerity of the heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

While reflecting on the last year, I have tried to come up with words that would amount to the cherished memories that I will hold forever. But truly there are no words that can.

When I think back on the last 365 days, the words that come to my mind are laughter, tears, change, community, service and love. These 6 simple words remind me of the impact NMFFA has had on my life. To the members, thank you for the best year of my life. Thank you for teaching me this past year the importance of serving others with my whole heart as well as recognizing, appreciating and holding the people who I cherish in my life a whole lot closer. Thank you for inspiring me with your stories and teaching me the value of servant leadership. New Mexico FFA thank you for being my safe haven the last several years. Thank you for allowing me to flourish with growth. I hope your time in the blue jacket does the same for you.

To my teammates, each and every single one of you inspires me everyday. Thank you for being the friends that have turned into forever family. My favorite things about our team was our ability to always be there for each other, all the sarcastic jokes but most importantly we pushed each other to be the best versions of ourselves that we could be. I love yall whole heartedly. Can’t wait till our next adventure.

New Mexico FFA, thank you! Thank you for letting me make these memories with you over this past year! This is a year I will never forget! Meeting you guys has been nothing short of a blessing and thank you for letting me meet the unique you! Thank you for teaching me to fight for myself and for the things I believe in!It is time to break the stigma around mental health and know thar you are enough, capable, and worthy!

Karleigh, Krisitan, Bryce, Mirhonda, Taylor, Cole. I love you guys more than anything. Whether it was staying up all night talking, jamming out in the van, or the random text messages I couldn’t be more thankful. God definitely knew what we he was doing allowing us seven to be teammates! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of you!
