An unexpected place in South Reno to get some amazing Al Pastor tacos, some of the best in town. Incredibly tender, super flavorful, comforting, addicting, and well- rounded. If you don't already know, Al Pastor is usually made from marinated pork shoulder cooked Lebanese style, stacked high on a vertical stake called a trompo. Can you imagine all the juices being caught by the meat below while slowly being roasted, allowing the pork to reach different heights of flavor?!?! LOL I don't even know if they're cooked this way at Twisted Fork, but I can tell you that they are loaded with flavor. Description of tacos Orange chili marinade pastor pork, caramelized onions, charred pineapples, chili Morita salsa, pickled cabbage, and corn tortillas. Twisted Fork also serves an incredible Porchini Mushroom Ravioli that vegetarians and meat eaters alike love. Super creamy with flavor in every bite. It's a must try. The best news is you can get these dishes at happy hour 3:30-5:30 daily (though i'm happy to pay full price because they're that yummy). With warmer weather ahead, the patio will probably be opening and they have a bar inside(separate from dining area). Dinner is great too and the atmosphere lively. Twisted Fork has been consistently great throughout the years. With what few options there are in South Reno for something on the fancier side, it packs a punch, with so much yummy to leave you satisfied and coming back for more. *Plenty of parking *Right next to RC Willey *Kid friendly
