What a fabulous open house festival it’s been. Huge huge thanks to both our talented guest artists and also everyone who made it up the hill and then overcame our famous “bottom step” to visit. We broke many records this year and just had a happy and enjoyable time. Looking forward to the next one already. This came out of the kiln yesterday and it’s one I would love to keep. Wonder if @bryony.rj would notice if I tucked it away? Slip on terracotta. ♥️

We’ve been experimenting in the barn, with terracotta (earthenware clay), but firing it for a second time to a higher temperature. Pushed it to 1200C and this gorgeous toasted colour has appeared!let me know what you think! #madeinditchling #teracotta #ceramics #pottery #terracotta
