Congratulations, my eldest son! I want you to know that your father and I are incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished and the person you’ve become. Most especially, the Lord is more proud of you because of your different values, faith and perspective on life. You try not to conform to secular values even if it’s difficult for you. It’s all by God’s grace and that’s why
I’m also excited about the future that awaits you. Always look up my son no matter what and Jesus is your true north! Remember, we’re always here for you and we love you unconditionally.
My prayer for you is in Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Just as Jesus demonstrated His love for us by dying on the cross, us parents and children are called to make sacrifices for each other. Family is the first place where children can learn about love, grace and forgiveness. #bnkfam #thankyouJesus

Happy birthday my first born. I’m so proud of the man you have become! I admire your conviction in life, your obedience to Christ and your transparency to us. Your genuine growing relationship with God is very evident in the choices you are making daily and I know none of us is perfect but I’m glad that you’re maturing gracefully and wisely. My prayer for you is that the Lord will always guide your steps and may He lead you on the path of righteousness, helping you to make wise choices and to discern His will. May you always seek God’s guidance and find comfort in His presence. May He grant you strength and courage to face challenges and to stand firm in your faith. May you continue to grow in wisdom, compassion, and love, becoming a man of integrity and character. May God always go with you and before you my son! I love you always and I’m always here for you no matter what!

Love,
Your Mama❤️

Happy birthday to my sweetest young boy, we’ve been praying for you daily since you were diagnosed with ASD in 2014. We are praying for more improvement especially with your verbal communication and life skills. I always thank God for every slow and little improvement you have every year. For us it’s already big and meaningful because of that slow and little progress we’ve learned to appreciate and be content of what we have and more hopeful to what lies ahead.
I want you to know that you are already our answered prayer because of you we all have experienced God’s faithfulness, goodness and His presence daily. We praise God for you my little boy you are our greatest blessing! We love you dearly 😘

One of the few things we look forward to during new year’s time is a chance to plan our goals for the new year. It’s a privilege to have this moment as a family but more importantly it is an opportunity for us to surrender our plans and goals to the Lord.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.”
- Proverbs 3:5-6

wrapping the year up, i reflected towards the many many things that happened in the span of 12 months. and honestly wow. 2024 definitely shaped me differently compared to the other previous years. from the endless opportunities, to the most humbling lessons and of course, the sleepless nights of reflections, 2024 had it's way of shaping me.

Philippians 4:6-7 is the usual verse my mom would remind me whenever i breakdown or open up to her about my problems. funny enough i would always recall that verse in my head whenever I am worried or anxious. sadly, as i reached the second half of the year, its meaning became loose and a repetition. the amount of worry, stress, and numerous burnouts I had just gave me a speck of the reality of our real world.

but God has his ways of twisting and pulling you. sometimes nakakabaliw, sometimes nakakaiyak but in the end you'd just realize how God will always and always mend and pull you out of those situations in the smallest strings and in the smallest ways. sometimes i look up and smile silently saying "grabe ka naman Lord. thank you"

to the closest niche of friends, thank you for your listening ears. i needed them a lot (hopefully the same goes as we enter 2025!) especially the times when i was full of myself, vulnerable, and sometimes lost. thank you for the countless akbays and countless "prayed for you euri" i heard from you all. malaking bagay yun for me especially knowing how I tend to keep things to myself and handles problems alone and silently. the love God has poured to me through you guys is something that will always and always make me tear up.

once again thank you for the many many humbling lessons and memories 2024. you are something worth remembering as i enter another year.

blessed new year everyone!
