Take it from us: it was a night to die for. 😈🔪♥️

There are no words to describe just how much we loved 54 Gets Away With Murder, nor to describe how grateful we are for how much love we felt along the way. Bringing some of the most talented people we know together to perform on one of NYC’s most historic cabaret stages to a sold out crowd is the truest of honors, and we are so beyond thankful for everyone who helped make this honor a reality — from our killer cast of performers, to our impeccable trio of musicians, to the @54below staff who supported the journey along the way, to those who helped fill in the gaps (shoutout to @anniebrwn and @ryanpk1017 for photos and videos, and to christiianjames for his arrangement of “Cabinet Man”!). Every single one of them made this show what it is — and for that, we have nothing but gratitude.

Keep an eye out for performance photos and videos on the horizon! Until then, we’ll let you all escape with your lives… for now. >:D

Bryson Brunson is a New York City Based multi-disciplinary artivist excited for you to see them make their 54 below debut! After graduating in 2025 with a BA in theater from Muhlenberg College, Brunson has spent this past year honing their artistic voice through creating original work like “Kin” at Uptown Rising and “Flint & Steel” with Joe’s Pub Developing Artists Showcase. They are so excited to hit the stage singing again with Fortunate Few! You may also recognize them from “Wayne Brady’s Comedy IQ”, “Studio C”, or “The Figure”. They would like to shout out their late grandmother, Charlesetta, and to remind you to buckle up for this show, cause things are about to get funky! @bryson_brunson

Sometimes, the best things in life are to die for – sometimes, they’re worth killing for.

For one night only, the Fortunate Few Productions family – a collective of emerging talents and veterans alike in New York City’s musical theatre circuit – is bringing the murder ballad songbook to 54 Below! Produced by Tommy Kelly and Aidan C. White with music direction by Aidan S. Wells, 54 Gets Away With Murder pledges to pass the microphone to music’s most conniving killers, bringing a mixture of musical theatre, country, hip-hop, and jazz to Broadway’s basement. Featuring raucous renditions of songs from “Sweeney Todd”, “Bonnie & Clyde”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Death Becomes Her”, and even the songbooks of Rihanna, Bobby Darin, and Lemon Demon, this night of cold-hearted camp is sure to be a bloody good time.
