Today was the ground breaking event for the Two Birds One Stone Beer Garden project at the @berkleyriverfront. We can't wait for this place to open! There are amazing views of the Missouri River and it's a stones throw to the new @kccurrent stadium. Thanks to @thethrashgroup and @portkc for pushing this project forward! @kem_studio has come up with an amazing design for this destination. We were happy to be part of the design team! It's always fun to collaborate with our friends at @bhc_eng @lankfordfendler_associates @bevireo @centric.build, thanks for organizing the ground breaking! We are looking forward to another successful build project with your team.

Since I made fun of @swords7207 for hitting the ball behind a stone bridge wall earlier this year, it’s only fitting that I would post this to congratulate him on a beautiful Hole in One at the 10th and final Kevin K. Nunnink Foundation Golf Tournament benefitting @saintlukeskc - a fitting end to five straight years for this group of halfwits.

It’s #KCDESIGNWEEK and we were proud to host the first of their 19 events for a sold-out talk here this morning with @nicole_morgan_satterwhite (Principal, @willobuzz ) and @bsatt (Co-Founder and Principal, @kem_studio) Brad was the lead architect who designed our Coffee + Wine Bar in 2014 and Tea Room in 2017. Nicole led the charge for our brand redesign in 2016. Their challenge was to “change everything without changing anything”. How do you modernize a brand while honoring its past? It was a monumental challenge but we think they nailed it! See the link in our bio with more info for KCDW!
