A couple more memories from an incredible week at NSU Baseball Camp! ⚾️ What a great way to wrap up camp! Watching Carter spend the week doing what he loves most—playing baseball, learning from great coaches, and making memories with his friends—means so much. His love for the game continues to grow, and we’re so proud of the hard work, confidence, and passion he brings every time he steps on the field. Here’s to another great summer at NSU and many more baseball memories to come! 🧡💜⚾️ #NSUBaseball #FutureDemon #BaseballLife #MakingMemories #ProudBaseballMom Daily Devotional Faithful In The Waiting Seasons We all love seeing quick answers to our prayers, but some of God’s greatest work happens while we are waiting. Waiting teaches us patience, builds our trust, and reminds us that God is never late even when life feels slow. The quiet seasons are not wasted seasons. They are often where our faith grows the deepest because we learn to depend on God instead of our own timeline. If you find yourself waiting today for healing, direction, restoration, or a breakthrough, do not lose heart. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking with Him. God is working behind the scenes in ways you cannot yet see, and when the time is right, His plan will unfold exactly as He intended. Bible Verse: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Carter is wrapping up his second NSU Baseball Camp of the summer, and what an incredible experience it’s been! ⚾💜 He had the best time spending the week with old friends, making new ones, and learning from the amazing NSU coaches and players. Every day helped him build new skills, grow his confidence, and deepen his love for the game. We’re so thankful for the time and dedication the Demons poured into these young athletes. Our final camp of the summer was definitely a home run, and Carter is already looking forward to the next opportunity to hit the field! ❤️⚾ Thank you Coree Nash for the amazing photos! #ForkEmDemons #NSUBaseball #SummerCamp #FutureBallplayer #ProudBaseballMom Daily Devotional The Beauty Of A Teachable Heart No matter how long we have followed Jesus, there is always something new He wants to teach us. Pride tells us we already know enough, but humility keeps our hearts open to God’s direction. When we stay teachable, God shapes our character, corrects our mistakes, and helps us grow into the people He created us to be. A teachable heart is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of wisdom. Today, ask God to help you listen more closely, learn more willingly, and follow Him more faithfully. The more we allow Him to guide us, the more our lives begin to reflect His love and truth. Bible Verse: “Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.” Proverbs 9:9

You spend your whole life chasing moments in this game, never thinking one day you’ll be looking back on them. As this chapter of my life starts coming to a close, I’ve found myself reflecting on everything this game has given me. As a kid, you dream about playing baseball forever. As you get older, you realize every journey eventually comes to an end. For me, it feels like I’ve lived a lifetime through this game. Over time, baseball became something I loved deeper than I’ll probably ever be able to explain. Playing college baseball is hard. There are moments where you have to get out of your own way, block out the doubt around you, and refuse to let people tell you what isn’t possible. If you know what you want, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If you truly love the game, it will pay you back. I’ll never forget being an undersized freshman in high school telling my coach that one day I was going to play Division 1 baseball. I learned early on that if you let other people decide what’s possible for you, you’ll never become who God called you to be. Looking back now, I can honestly say that little kid’s dream became reality. Baseball gave me relationships and memories that will stay with me forever. No matter where life takes me, a part of me will always belong to this game. To my coaches, thank y’all for trusting me, pushing me, and giving me the opportunity to compete every single day. I’ll always appreciate everything y’all invested in me throughout my career. To my teammates, y’all became brothers to me. Y’all made some of the best years of my life unforgettable, and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for. There’s nobody else I would’ve rather shared the field with. Lastly, my family. Thank you for seeing all sides of my career. Thank you for never giving up on me and allowing me to play this game until it was time for the cleats to come off one last time. I wouldn’t have made it this far if it wasn’t for y’all. I love y’all! I’m a grown man that was playing a kid’s game. With all that being said… I think it’s time for the next chapter. Love you and I’m proud of you, God Bless and Fork ’Em.

Carter and LA Lightning 12U had an incredible night at Brown-Stroud Field with our Northwestern State Demons! ⚾️🩵⚡️ Our boys had the unforgettable opportunity to run out with players at their positions and be recognized in front of the Demon players, coaches, and fans. They even got to stand with the team during the National Anthem. Watching these boys grow together year after year has truly been such a blessing. After the game, our families had the honor of feeding the team following a BIG Demon victory over Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks—and making the night even more special, it marked Chris Bertrand’s 200th win. Wow! We love our Lightning and Demon family! 💜🧡 Daily Devotional Don’t Let This World Weigh You Down Life can feel heavy sometimes. There are days when the stress, the bad news, and the constant pressure make it hard to keep your head up. But this world was never meant to carry your hope. God didn’t design your heart to find peace in circumstances that change every day. When things feel overwhelming, it is a reminder to lift your eyes back to Him. He is steady when everything else feels shaky. He is peace when everything feels chaotic. You may not be able to control what happens around you, but you can choose where you place your trust. Hold onto God today, because He is stronger than anything trying to bring you down. Bible Verse: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

But God is always working, even when you cannot see it. In the waiting, He is shaping your heart, building your faith, and preparing what is ahead. His timing is not rushed or delayed, it is perfect. What feels like a pause to you is often God putting things in place behind the scenes. Trust that He has not forgotten you and that every moment of waiting has purpose. Stay faithful, keep praying, and hold on, because God is moving in ways you cannot yet see. Bible Verse: “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” Psalm 37:7
